Namika 922
A front two of Aguero-Falcao looks good on paper but I hardly see them shining together. A little bit like RvP-Rooney, they have the same movements, they both like to drop deep, etc... One of them would be restricted in his movements. Falcao - AgueroNasri - Yaya - Fernando/Dinho - SilvaThey would crush the little sides but against the big teams, they would suffer, Falcao/Aguero/Silva aren't known to be pressing machine and Yaya tends to forget to replace himself. Falcao is more of a "stay on the shoulder of the defender" striker. A pure number 9 as they say - his best ability is getting goals with his finishing ability and off the ball movement. Aguero is a lot more rounded and his best position is actually 'second striker' - the one that drops a bit deeper and stuff. They would actually complement each other quite well but they'll lose that physical presence they get with Dzeko upfront. Not going to happen though. City can't fit him in their squad. Remember pretty well some games against Real Madrid where he did it, actually in the Copa Del Rey finale, he set up the goal of Costa by dropping deep. He's a complete striker like Kun imo. I think Falcao's at his best when he's at the end of chances created, rather than linking up play constantly (which he isn't amazing at but he isn't bad at either). His strengths are his finishing ability and his off the ball runs but can come up with other moments of brilliance here and there. Sergio is more rounded as a striker. A pure 9 with a pure second striker I think. It would be an interesting combination.
iseah100 5,612
We should bid for Negredo if they get him. £16m?
nadavTKL 1,787
Falcao was congratulated by his sponsor, Gatorade, for his transfer to Real Madrid. Tweet removed 10 minutes later.

nadavTKL 1,787
They'll have even better strike force, but for me they still didn't improve their weaker areas (CB next to Kompany, and AM next to Silva).

BenIsLegend 475
Not in the squad vs Lille despite being fully fit. Transfer imminent.
Fernando 6,585
We should bid for Negredo if they get him. £16m?Well if they get Falcao it's obvious that Negredo is leaving. Pellegrini said he wanted 4 strikers, so he will have 4 strikers. They are doing what we just did, get rid of one striker for another. I thought Negredo was alright, but if you have the option to change Negredo for Falcao I would do it. Nothing to hate on that, just smart business. nadavTKL 1,787
They got Mangala. They have Navas too.Navas isnt good enough to be a starter in City, its always been on Silva's shoulders in the attacking mid, the only real creator with Yaya. and Mangala will fail imo, never thought he's too good. pWneR 230
Didn't they already spend their FFP amount? 60 mil or something? Falcao will cost them that much atleast.
Myself 793
What do you like more?Ronaldo-Falcao-BaleOrNeymar Messi Suarezthe second one. +messi would be cutting in from the right, suarez will play centrally

And yes your right they have passed their allotted amount, thus they have to sell. I think Negredo more then likely will go back to Spain, unless Wenger decided to get him? MrBlueGuy 1,552
So if they sign him they will have 2 of the top 5 strikers in the world in their squad.
pWneR 230
They need to sell, but who are they going to sell? Negredo wouldn't cover the third of Falcao transfer fee, but if he's going there on loan they might trick FFP.
Myself 793
Man City is the worst club you can go to. You play well, they replace you. If you play poorly, you get no second chance. Just look at Zabaleta, Rodwell didn't even get one chance. You only get to play if you're a big name.

Costa plays bad this season we go out and sign someone to replace him next year, not giving him a 2nd chance. Big clubs can't afford to just give players chance over and over again until they prove themselves unless they are big names signed for huge fees.
