Michael Essien's representatives insists the midfielder is happy at Chelsea and have denied he has any interest in joining Internazionale.

There has been speculation that the Ghana midfielder would be reunited with former manager José Mourinho who was unveiled as the new Inter boss yesterday (Wednesday).

But Essien's agent Fabien Piveteau, confirmed: 'Michael is very happy at Chelsea and that is where he will be playing next season. His current contract runs until 2012. There has been no approach from Inter.'

Fantastic news. I hope Riccy carvalho does the same.

I'm not feeling too good at the moment, but that has cheered me up.

I think Lamps will end his career with us, and great news about Essien, but I can see Jose taking Riccy. I think Ashley Cole rumour is bollocks although I fully understand why he would want him. Tbh I am fed up with Drogba and his whingeing, I worship him and his strength and skill, but he is making us look really bad by saying he wants to go, then he wants to stay. Its all getting a bit daft.
