07/08 Report card: Chelsea

On-pitch moment of the season = Didier Drogba's goal and celebration against Liverpool in the Champions League

Off-pitch moment of the season = Mourinho's sacking

Player who must not be sold = Joe Cole

Greatest goal = Alex vs Middlesbrough, with Shevchenko's assist

Most embarrassing moment = The last-minute equaliser against Wigan.

Effect of manager’s shopping = Mourinho's signings have failed to deliver, save Alex, whilst Anelka has had little impact for Grant.

The season in five words = Initially disappointing but eventually promising

Five-point action plan for the summer = Buy a young goalkeeper, a winger, a striker, a playmaker and sell surplus players

On-pitch moment of the season: Drogba celebrating infront of the Liverpool Dugout and the whole Stamford Bridge crowd mocking Rafa with the "diving" actions.

Off-pitch moment of the season: Jose Sacking

Most embarrassing moment: Grant appointment

Effect of manager’s shopping: All of Jose's signings have been huge flops apart from Alex. Grant's signiing ie. Anelka has not had a huge effect as yet.

1)sort out contracts!

2)Dont panic buy!!

3)Sell/loan players who are being wasted here

Most embarrassing moment the fa cup loss

Effect of manager’s shopping anelka not the best but not the worst

The season in five words bad start , isn't finished , RESPECT

Five-point action plan for the summer

1. dont buy has idiots (ie Bucktoothe or Eto)

2. get our reserve boys into the first team

3. wrap JT in a bubble

4. no injuries please

5. start pre season as the winners of the Champions League

Off-pitch moment of the season Jose Mourinho sacked

Player who must not be sold I would say JT but because he won't be sold anyway, I will choose of all of those who are rumoured to be leaving - Didier Drogba.

Greatest goal Belli against Sperms

Most embarrassing moment Losing to Barnsley after slating Loserpool for losing to them

Effect of manager’s shopping Not bad, not revolutionary. Tbh only Anelka has been brought in, so it cannot be asked like that.

The season in five words Most exciting of recent years

Five-point action plan for the summer

1. Make good signings

2. Renew Lampsy's contract

3. Appoint a better, good manager

4. Play enough friendlies to build up fitness

5. Make plans to reduce number of injuries in training

On-pitch moment of the season Chelsea vs Liverpool - 2nd Leg CL SF. I can't pick one moment out of it, it was just all perfect; Lampard scoring after his mother's death, Lampard's performance throughout the game, Drogba's celebration and the fact that we finally beat them in the SF, great game.

Off-pitch moment of the season Jose leaving/Grant arriving

Player who must not be sold Out of those rumoured to leave? Lampard

Greatest goal Alex vs Middlesbrough

Most embarrassing moment Ballack + Drogba's breakdown for the freekick against United, was so childish and was such an important time. Thankfully we did win the match.

Effect of manager's shopping

Alex - Very good

Belletti - I like him, obviously Avram doesn't.

Anelka - I wasn't expecting much this season, hopefully he'll finally come good.

The season in five words We're always gonna be there

Five-point action plan for the summer

1. Sign a class winger

2. Sell dead-wood

3. Bring in a few youth players

4. Don't get bullied in transfer market

5. Stop getting injured!

Jose getting fired

Greatest goal =

Alex vs boro

Most embarrassing moment =

Jose getting fired the day of the DVD release

Effect of manager’s shopping =

Jose's - Haim=crap, Sidwell=good role player/back-up, Pizzaro=crap, Alex=great back-up, Belletti=so so/ok for a last minute deal

Avram - Anelka=too early to tell - needs more time in natural position with Drogs, Ivanovic=jury is still out

The season in five words =

a rollercoaster ride to remember

Five-point action plan for the summer =

1. Sort out manager situation

2. See point #1

3. If drogs stays - buy a class but YOUNG, winger - if he leaves a striker holds priority

4. give some of the younger players a chance to fill in the back-up roles-let them play the FA/Carling matches 

5. have keyon sign a contract clause that he will not blow smoke up our asses

Because of the rumours, Lampard. Players like cech and JT will never go but there are question marks over Franky and Drogs.

Malouda vs Newcastle

Most embarrassing moment:

The defeat to Barnsley in the FA Cup.

Effect of manager's shopping:

In general they have been decent without setting the world alight.

The season in five words:

tough, inconsistant, unlucky, resiliant, dogid

Five-point action plan for the summer:

1) Appoint a new manager

2) Sort out Franks Contract

3) Get rid of the duffers

4) Buy who we need, don't worry about the money, just get the right men in no matter what it takes.

5) suss out the best formation, work on the 4-4-2.
