The fact that you dismiss French cinema is foolish. Gaspar Noe (he is an Argentine but all of his films are in French), Jean-Pierre Juenet, Jacques Tati, Jean-Luc Godard are just a few fantastic French directors. I bet you will dismiss something like Japanese cinema next.

Moving back on topic, Marseille et al don't get good kits from adidas at all, they get monstrosities like this:
