bushman 2,043
I believe, Eto´o for 2m is a great deal. Some might say, he is old, lost his pace & all that jazz. Quite the contrary. Jose is going utilize him well. Jose will bring the attacking mid-fielders into play & bingo. Chelsea saves plenty of money here & it will work, I feel. Ollie 4,400
Perfect for a season or 2, absolutely perfect. I just hope this happens. Willian and Eto'o to join what we already have then Lukaku will take over and be the new Drogs for 10 years. It's set up brilliantly for our young players, this squad. bushman 2,043
If Eto´o signed, I believe it´ll be for 2-3 years. Certainly, he can help the team much better than Ferda or BA, I feel.

ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Think this will happen. If his agent is in Manchester tonight as reported, this is imminent IMO. Therefore wont be a bid for Rooney made
Thomas Williams 166
Eto'o will score less league goals than Lukaku last season if he joins If Eto'o can score 15 league goals (two less than Lukaku did) then I still regard that as a good buy, that's way more than Torres and Ba scored combined for us last year. Zoro 151
Eto'o and Lukaku will do a lot better than Torres and Ba did last season.

The Skipper 20,609
Eto'o will score less league goals than Lukaku last season if he joins It really isn't all about goals with this signing. What he'll bring in terms of link up play and his potential chemistry with the the three behind is what will make this transfer a good signing. He's a good back up plan to the Wayne Rooney signing. He's a good back up plan to the Wayne Rooney signing.Whilst that's true I feel that goals are very important and instrumental towards winning the title. We've seen in with RVP last season and this season I think it's necessary. Yes we could argue that in 04/05 and 05/06 we didn't have an out and out scorer but then again we had an absolute monster midfield. This season our midfield wont cut it. Then again you're right, link up play with our assets in attacking midfield will help our AMs strive. However I don't feel Eto'o is the right man for this link-up job, he likes to play on the shoulder of the last defender and exploits space, similar to Lukaku and Ba. He has better dribbling and link up than the two of them, but it won't be a huge improvement to what we've got. Rooney is perfect for us.
