Basic cabbage soup diet recipe from Sharon, shared on our forum.
Ingredients:

6 large green onions (1 bunch)
2 green bell peppers
1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (14.5 ounce size, diced or whole)
1 bunch celery, sliced
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
1 package (Lipton) onion soup mix
1 or 2 cubes bouillon (optional)
1 48 oz can V8 juice, or 6 cups water or light chicken or vegetable broth
Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.*
Preparation:

Simmer or slow cook all until soup is done. *If slow cooking, add seasonings about an hour before done. Eat all the soup you want, whenever you want. This is the basic plan, shared by Sharon.
First Day - All fruit is fine, except bananas; soup
Day 2 - Any and all vegetables, baked potato with butter for dinner; soup
Day 3 - Combine Day 1 and 2, without potato; soup
Day 4 - Up to six bananas, all the skim milk you want; soup
Day 5 - 10 to 20 ounces of beef, a can of tomatoes, 6 to 8 glasses of water; soup
Day 6 - All the beef and vegetables you want; soup
Day 7 - Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables; soup

Note: No bread, alcohol, or carbonated beverages - not even diet soda

I admit it was a low blow, but a necessary one. Dismissing people's opinion just because they are not English is ridiculous and had to stop.

Not true at all. I'm not English and he doesn't dismiss my opinion, and there are plenty of other people he agrees with who aren't English either. Likewise, you just have to look at how he disagrees with Sam and Pacquiao, who are both English, to see what you said above is bollocks of the highest order.

Even if that is his opinion, you aren't the one that decides whether everyone should know about it, that's his personal choice.

If you were insulted by it then surely you could've just consulted the other mods/admins and ask whether it would be correct to give him warning points or whatever?

There is absolutely no need to make a thread about this, this just created a sour atmosphere across the forum, and like James said, you should be closing threads such as these, not creating them.

Sorry, but the first two people to have a pop at me in this thread were both English, and both accused me of dismissing their opinions.

If you can find a single person whose opinion I've dismissed because they're foreign or live overseas then go for it. I suggested this month that an English-based fan (very much in a Chelsea stronghold) shouldn't have won MOTM but that other people (at least one of whom lives abroad) should've.

At worst I'm a bit of a cunt, but very much an equal opportunities one.

1) That's the point. He calls into question whether the people who don't agree with him are true fans. This is evident from PMs I posted and various other examples.

2) He decided to "share" his opinion about international fans with me, and I have decided to share it with the forum. I don't owe him the secrecy of what he says to me, especially if it is meant as an attack.

3) Warning him would only cause people to say that there is favoritism to wards mods and admins here and that we are a dictatorship.

4) The aim of this thread was to prove that all fans are equal no matter from where and that you can't get away with dismissing and marginalizing people's opinions just because they can't go to SB.

Right.....there are now more people viewing this then there are the Schurrle thread.

Choulo, I'm sorry I called you a cunt on numerous occasions. But this thread is an embarrassment to everyone concerned, and to this site. There was personal animosity between you and I but there was no need to take it further than that, but equally I shouldn't have started it.

We've all had a bit of fun but let's just all cower our heads in shame and shuffle off.

Most people who post here already know that you do that and have seen you do it. In fact, every time we argue about something, you either say "The people I go with to SB agree with me" or "When are you going to SB so we can have a pint and talk about this?".

OK Keep it civil guys.

Threads like this have cropped up around three times on TC since 2005. They are always heated, but lets have constructional debate.

I am of the opinion that there are fans in other countries that havent been to the Bridge that are more 'worthy' fans than some of the morons that go there. People like Steve the Admin bloke (who has made the pilgimage and has a shirt /memorabilia collection to die for), and Francozola in Singapore. There are others. You just have to check out the Phillipines Supporters -fucking Chelsea mental.

I am also of the opinion that fans should at least make an attempt to visit SW 6, as muslims have a duty to visit mecca

Alright, I'm sorry I started this thread, but you pushed my hand. I don't think that you really hate international fans but you just seem to use that as a tactic against people who don't agree with you. It was a low blow nonetheless. I hope it means that you quit using this 'tactic'.

Locked.

Not said the former, very rarely said the latter.

Either way, you need to change the title of this thread to 'Look what TOPTB said' otherwise we're going off-topic.

The other thing about the Talk Chelsea forum is that by its very nature -it's international.

If there are some parochial nationalist Chelsea fans here that take exception to foreign partcipants, there are other forums that cater for 'English' types.

I for one welcome the sheer diversity of this forum -we even have that Scottish bastard Changingman 2000 on here now and again....
