Better Coverage than England?

HAHA, once again my Brazzer friend you don't understand me. ALL the games are live in HD, bar none. Then replays are on all week. We also get some FA Cup and League Cup games live on Sentanta Sports and we get all UCL league games live. Half on FREE TO AIR, and the other half on paid.

LOOOL, I lose.

But then again, I don't. What time do you have to wake up?

How is the coverage of other Leagues like BBVA, Bundesliga, Liuge 1 and Serie A? It was already much better here, EPL like, but now it is just 2-3 games per week...

You forget who I am. I don't sleep before games.

And stop using the rolling eyes thing, it's considered insulting to roll eyes over here. You may as well be giving me the middle finger.

All we have is ESPN HD ,ESPN, Star Sports, Star Sports 2. These 3 air EPL, FA Cup, La LIga, Serie A. Gets pretty messy.
There is a channel known as 'Neo ports' which airs Bundesliga. Ten Action and Ten sports air the CL, Europa, League Cup and Championship matches(very selective). But we do have to pay reasonably well for all the channels.

The problem with coverage in England is Murdoch-owned SkySports hog all the rights to the Premier League games. We have ESPN here which is given a portion of EPL, (the 17:30 k/os) but even those are so rare now. It's really disgraceful that SkySports are allowed to get majority rights and not allow competition with ESPN to allow them to show more games..

I get SkySports want the "big" matches, but they don't even let ESPN show the minor ones, that kick off at the same time, because they're scared of losing that little bit minimum of viewership.

Mostly, via Internet.

Like, firstrow?

This sucks man, I always cringe when I have to watch a match via pirate stream. Thank fuck I dont have to watch Chelsea games via Internet!

Out of interest guys,

Is there any website, that's legitly allowed to show all matches for a fee? I'd cancel Sky and pay for that in a heartbeat.

No, I am sorry. This is one of the great flaws of football leagues. We should have an online pass like NFL, NBA or MLB...

When I'm at work, I watch via Firstrowsports on the laptop.

However, watchin 240p and 360p streams are miserable!

In india we can watch almost every match live facup, ucl, bpl,la liga, uel.I have digital cable connection. It only costs 4usd per month and u can watch 300 channels with that. But they are not hd.For hd u have to shell out more.

Watching hd and watching sd 2 different things......

How much more do you have to shell out?

Yea basically. Couple seasons back, streams used to be fantastic! Often even on par with quality of SkySports & ESPN. Since the massive crackdown by the FBI a couple years back (where streaming hosts, movie & tv-show hosts etc where taken down), quality has somewhat dipped.

Sad state of affairs, but there's simply no other alternative :-\

actually for hd you have to buy hd setup box which costs around 50USD but only around 15 Hd channels are available. In that only 3 are sports channels.

For Sd normal set up box is enough whose price is around 25USD.Quality of sd is better than firstrow streams.

Shit, so by coming to England I will be actually furthest from the games than in Brazil? :P

You basically accept what SkySports asks or you get no football? What about open channels, they dont have permission to show at least one game?

Firstrowquailty is so bad!!! lol

I would like to retract my statement, hd is good if you have a big screen tv... If not, you don't need it!

How can you tell AKe and Luiz apart!! lol

Nope. It's SkySports or nothing. I mean you can get a 'dodgybox' which unlocks all Sky channels, but they're a lot of hassle to get sorted. Champions League gets shown on an open channel one game/week. FA Cup too. The League Cup, FA Cup & CL final are also shown on open channels.

In recent cases, there was a pub that actually got a European dish to unlock those channels and she actually broadcasted that in her pub. She got in trouble with UK law but she went all the way to the EJC and she actually won on appeal. So that's something that might be more popular in a few years, who knows! At the moment it's as you said.. Skysports or you get no football.
