Manchester City fan in Peace

Hi All,

Manchester City fan here in peace, season ticket holder, so go easy on me.

Basically, I'm a student and a blogger and in response to Martin Samuel's piece this morning regarding four rather bitter rivals we share, I published the following piece:

http://seanhaughton.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/the-collusion-of-old-monopoly-exposes.html

Seeing as both City and Chelsea have been on the receiving end of appalling media coverage down the years, we seem to be in the same boat with this one despite some passionate encounters in past seasons.

That's about it from me, good luck for the rest of the season, just don't overtake us, ;) I'd rather compete with Chelsea than Spurs and Arse anytime.

Nice one :)

As you'll find out - the media love a bad-guy - despite Utd spending big over the years, they're always held up as this or that... Arsenal always balance the books and win fook all....

It's just cheap shot, sensationalist journalism.

I've moved to Austria and it's snowing here for days, England gets a light sprinkling and chaos - why? Because with 24 hour news there always has to be a bad guy...

Since moving to Austria - I don't read any papers, listen to any news (except the odd glimpse of Sky News when I press 501 instead of 401 for SS1) - and it really is awesome... No more bullshit, just live life and be happy...

Don't worry, there's bound to be another team soon who spends lots of money, then it will be Chelsea + City + A.N.Other that have ruined the game - actually how much have QPR spent recently? ;)

Aye Dzeko's fairly good in my books, arrange the deal, you can get Torres (well... whats left of him, not much litreally one working hamstring and half a ribcage) in return :D

I prefer Mata, ;) We should've had him before he signed for yourselves.

welcome ,read Samuels article this morning . Despite working for the Mail has written some fair comments about us lately . Of course the hypocrisy of Manure and Wenger is boundless.

Interesting the suggestion that it is a USA alliance ...If they fail to get Platini to take over I suppose they will send the Marines in.

If these clubs were fan owned and restricted in some way legally I would have some sympathy, but they are all privately owned but by people with less money that Roman and the Arabs at City.

If they had the money they would not give a flying fuck about whether it was fair or not.

If these bitter four, whose owners are jealous beyond belief, had anything constructive other than hypocritical ramblings then I might even concede they have a point.

Trade him for Torres?

I agree with Hanson, his pace is gone and he's struggling to adapt without it.

Exactly this. There is no point to what they are saying, it's jeaolously and nearing the ramblings of overthrown dictators.
