we finished tenth that year when he turned 35

he played 9 more league games for us after that, the next season

Sorry, I got the age wrong but my point is people thought he was done at 33 under Benitez but Mourinho got two more good, solid seasons out of him.

do you really think a 32yo Azpi is going to have some sort of renaissance?

And Azpi is contributing to our flaws with his poor defensive game at the back...
At least Jorgi has some positives that make him valueable for our Offensive style of play.

Sorry, I got the age wrong but my point is people thought he was done at 33 under Benitez but Mourinho got two more good, solid seasons out of him. 

So we have to sack Lamps to find a Coach that brings Azpi back to his best?

Alot can happen just a few months. Azpi has been captain for a while now and he aint it imo. Again we de not have leaders anymore so we have to make do, but Azpi aint it.....that he is the best option speaks its own story.

Did I say explicitly say that? It's more of a case of be careful to write players off.

Mourinho calls Terry and he starts training two three times a day in the summer and stops drinking. No wonder his performance increased. That part starts at 4:10 . Great interview.
