Imagine Chalobah - Baker - Loftus-Cheek starting in a midfield 3 against their own age group. Domination. It would honestly be so much like the Essien/Lampard/Ballack combination.

Was just thinking about this. I really hope all three come through to the first team, they have the talent.

Swift on for Boga. Boga not at his best today, think he struggled with the pitch. But his dribble started from deep inside his own half instigates the attack that ended with our goal.

Haven't seen much of Swift this campaign. Appears RLC has gone past him in the pecking order.

We could have (without loans) played our strongest youth XI - Blackman; Kane, Chalobah, Kalas, Nditi; Saville, McEachran, Baker/Boga; Piazon, Lukaku/Bamford/Feruz, Lalkovic/Kiwomya.

Fact is, it's our 2nd-string team beating Arsenal's 1st.

baker impressed me, so did loftus cheek, kimowya is exactly the type of player we need even now - a true winger who sticks to the wings and crosses in balls. boga was good and took some awesome runs but feruz was the one who stood out. he is a true striker... even at the moment he ll do a much better job than one of our first team players.

the defense is really poor. nditi seems hopeless and christian eriksen seems to be overawed.

also its so awesome to watch these guys play. its like watching our first team. a hopeless shity first half followed by a completely different out of the world second half...

Yep. Gotta blame the manager. Doing what our first team manager's do which others don't - Taking off our best, attacking players and bringing on average ones to 'defend a lead', thus invite pressure and allow the opposition to score.
