I don't think they are exposing it for the sake of exposing it, you may think it's exploitation but I don't think it is that sinister in nature. It does put into perspective how different some places in the world are and can really make someone what they have and hopefully not discriminate people based on silly differences. I hope you weren't offended by it.

If you watched the North Korean Guide, he mentions how the North Koreans feel sorry for us while we feel sorry for them and how both sides are somewhat brainwashed.

North Korea is a fascinating place, one of a kind nation. Not that I would want to live there, but their secrecy breeds curiosity.

Osim is a Yugoslav, and a Bosnian legend. The man was always ahead of his time. A philosopher manager and a gentleman in football boots.

As far as the series goes, no I was not offended, but it just seems like the show has a particular niche, and it seems to try to balance entertainment in the horror show factor with an educational or moral message and often it fails at its purpose.

I have some trouble loading the video but IMO it's impossible to create a guide to the Balkans.
