He was playing in the '4' of a 4411 for Genk in CM and so yes he could play in the double pivot, just has to develop the defensive side of his game which he does have. The double pivot is also the best place to utilise his skills such as his great long passing. He's versatile though and can play in at least 3 positions

Pace isn't his best asset though, its the way he uses the ball so intelligently and can pick out a pass. He was CM in Genk's 4411 and i think he'll be a top player, but i want to see him playing week in week out for a team rather than the odd game here and there. Looking forward to seeing him in pre season

Either Modric isn't getting 14 or Modric might not even come at all... which is probably the most likely. Happy to see KDB will get a chance to compete for a place in pre season, hope he is part of the squad this season.
