Question is why bother if we're gonna die anyway. All that knowledge will go to waste. Learn, have a career (if not be considered a parasite to the society), die. In fact, if to go deeper with this philosophy, then I do think that life is meaningless and that you start dying the moment you are born... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, not everything has to have a grand meaning, but pointless nonetheless.
