watcherfromafar 11
I really like football, but my first love is hockey. Some of you might be just discovering hockey in the same way I am football.Anyway, the regular season is a monster grind. It's 82 games and the best teams will lose. Never put too much stock in any single regular season result. The main thing is just to stay in the top 8 in the conference, get to the playoffs and then perform. As a Montreal fan, it ain't looking good right now. The hated Bruins are strong, but a lot can happen.

Jusek 2,031
It's been one of the best PO games this season so far! Worth watching!Game 3 just ended. Flyers won 8-4, leading the series now 3-0. Unbelievable series so far; lots of goals, hits and fights. If you're not a hockey fan yet, watch a game between these two teams and you will become a fan. This is playoff hockey! OnkelDal 27
Being Canadian, I spent my entire life watching hockey! So I know a things about it and it's rich history. Most successful team is not the Vancouver Cancucks. Despite them being a good team the last few years, they have never won the big ptice. Most Successful team in NHL history would be the Montreal Canadians, 24 championships. Most successful in the paswt 10 years would be the Detriot Red Wings, although I think that may change soon. The team I support is the Edmonton Oilers.....a team with a history of championships and being the best team in the 80's all the way to one the worst in the league, especially the past few seasons. Dudes don't have a clue how to run a NHL team. They've got the prospects but no veterans, no real leaders and IMO Edmonton should've traded some of their offensive talents for a No. 1 defender. Probably gonna be a tough season again for you guys

Probably gonna be a tough season again for you guys I 100% agree. All the GM has to do is pick the top pick in the draft pool, then botch another season for to get the other one. If they finish the season dead last again I'll probably just boycott them for a season cause of how frustrating they are to watch. They say it takes a while to rebuild a team with ypung talent, but they've been sayig that for far too many years. We do have vets, but they are underachieving =/

SO glad the lockout's over. The game is in our blood. Seriously, Canadians are obsessed with hockey. I lost interest for a while when my Jets moved (stupid Bettman, Americans in warm climates don't care about hockey!!!) but was ecstatic to get them back. Good young team. Probably a couple of years away. Living in Toronto and watching the Leafs fail every year is pure joy.

OnkelDal 27
Sad thing is that I stopped watching when we were losing with 10 seconds left in the game. Never again will I do that haha
