What I would like to know is: are there any famously extinct fauna?have any important and rare flora been wiped?how bad is the industrialisation and damage to the country side?You don't need to supply details at all I can research those myself, just the minor points would be helpful.Any help would be greatly appreciated, as right now I am struggling with the lack of resources readily available. There are some parts of rivers that are dirty and big cities are too obviously, but besides that not too much. When most Yanks think of Europe, they think of the Home Islands or Western Europe. The Balkans seem like a cheaper, less touristy vacation; a sort of hidden gem. I imagine the coast lines are packed this time of year, though.And yes, I'm aware none of this helps the OP.
