Sheva. 5,373
Great thing to hear! They deserve it Does anyone know how big their new wages are?The Guardian says McEachran is now on 25k a week. Didn't mention anything about Bertrand
Kojo 4,676
They are the only two young players i have hope for in getting in that chelsea squad when there older, so happy they both signed new contracts.
Kostas 1,468
Not surprised about McEachran, he's got at least 3 more years at the club before having to think about leaving.Bertrand's new contract along with the one Van Aanholt signed a while ago creates an interesting LB situation. One of them has to become a real back-up to Cole and the other can be sold for a respectable fee.

Henri 115
Cant help myself by being a little cynical. So now we have two homegrown boys in the team witha long-term deal which can help us keep up the eight “homegrown” players rule!. On the otherhand sure they can make it in the future. LDN Blue 7,903
A very bold move by Bertrand. No doubt, when he heard Van Aanholt had signed an extension a few months ago, he would've been questioning his own future. Him signing this deal will be interesting, hope he doesn't live to regret it. Villas-Boas must clearly be a decisive factor in this.. Hope he's given his rightful chance. Hope he's given his rightful chance. It's not actually such a bold move. He'll get a bigger wage, chance to prove himself, and if the things don't work out he'll leave for bigger money. We've also got a great young manager who encourages offensive full back.
