And this was a never a red card.

I wouldn't call that a howler. Tricky ball, easy to get caught out but that was a preventable goal.

ures Vodka for drunk lectures here( cos it leaves little smell). We could get suspended if we are caught drunk attending lectures. But then again, it never happens.

The only consolation is that the last 16 is after the winter transfer window. Maybe we can sort out our pivot by then and maybe our attack as well. And we do step up for the big- matches, don't we?? Any teams other than Bayern or RM are manageable.

I'll go with the NOT-SO-TIRED team for this one and back to 4-2-3-1. .......................................Cech.............................. Azpi...................Luiz......................Terry......................Cole ..............................Rami....................Mikel.......................... Shurr...............................Mata........................Hazard ......................................Torres.................................... Currently only, Rami got the legs to trod 90 minutes every 3 days. With Schneiderlein and Wanyama in their pivot, it is going to be pacey in the middle. Mata and Schurr deserves the start, so does Hazard. Either we get things right and dominate the game or it'll be Basel all over again. Carefree. KTBFFH

Exams postponed....Just another reason to get drunk.

Can't wait for the fixtures to pile up which will surely test Arse's thin squad.

Ronaldo? Who?

9 matches including the Staueu match. i reckon atleast 4 starts to get his Chelsea career back on track. Or he is gone by the end of January.

i would've given 30m for Maldini in his prime. But then again, we are so desperate for a LB that we actually play at RB there draining out the attacking intent from that flank. I'm sure they'll budge for 23-25m if we include a loan deal.

They obviously got better legs than Mata for the Mourinho style of play. But Mata did thrive the previous season because of a more fluid style rather than counter attack. So far he hasn't been able to work out the new style. He's definitely trying, which was evident from the Swindon game but never really got hold of the new way here. It's gonna be even harder to return back to the winger role he used to play so well at Valencia. Then again, who am I to argue with bushman?
-
Mata not playing- agreed, not suiting our style and also with Oscar's form. But not playing Shurrle is beyond me.
-
He's all legs. Once he's tired, not very effective.

"Tottenham had sold Elvis Presley and bought the Beatles was the claim. Except this lot look more like the fab four pastiche group the Rutles — if Nasty, Stig, Dirk and Barry had all decided to swap instruments five minutes before the gig." Atleast he got the jokes right.

He said post- match that he couldn't change the team after that solid performance at Upton Park. His team selection was justified, playing Mata or not. He should've turned the game around at HT work atleast 2 changes like taking off Lamps and Oscar and bringing De Bruyne and Hazard/Mata on. But that was just one of those days. I'd take a loss here, learn from our mistakes and win at Southampton. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

he's a box to box midfielder. that's what he is. I must have missed all these lovely, out of the ordinary passes and chances he's being creating since joining us. And how many of those fancy, out of this world passes actually worked? I must say this way, he's more effective. Still a playmaker though. They doesn't always work with creative passing. I'd rather talk about Brek Shea if you want to talk about American talent. Not saying Bradley's a waste, but not Chelsea material by any means even if we didn't have Ramires. Also i don't see him leaving Roma, not in the upcoming window, atleast. Sorry i was a bit frustrated while on my earlier post.
