This is all that needs to be said in regards to what we're facing right now.The same thing happened in his last season in Madrid. A team that was high flying, became a shadow of themselves the following season.. He was figured out and didn't know how to adjust his tactics. So he decided to deflect, and throw players like Ozil under the bus. Then he started yapping on about conspiracies and all that.To get out of the mess he created, he started talking nonsense about how he wanted to go where he is loved and saying all types of crazy stuff so Perez had no choice but to fire him. I can't find it, but there's a press conference he did during his last weeks at Madrid where he completely loses it. Talking about how he is Madrid's most successful manager in years. He even pulls out some documents to prove his point. It was worse than Rafa's "Facts" rant. Very cringe worthy.

In a team full of star studded talent, James is easily the 2nd best player. Hazard can be better but I can't see that happening under the current manager.

He doesn't have to be a Messi level player. No one in football history is. But he has the potential to be a truly elite player, like the likes of Robben, James etc. But he won't reach that level as long as Jose shackles him and the team.

Biggest mistake was giving him that contract before seeing how things would pan out.

I don't know if you guys followed Madrid under Jose. But do you remember how bad Modric was under him? I remember the press saying Luka was one of the biggest flops in La Liga history. Then Carlo came in and turned him into the best CM in europe. That's why I feel the blame for the KDB saga should be laid squarely on him. He's not flexible enough as a manager to work with players that have a certain profile. Ancelotti and Rafa managed to make a pivot of Modric and Kroos work. Something I feel Mou can't do.

He didn't progress far enough. Hazard should at least be Robben level at this point of his career and he hasn't even managed to do that. He's 24 years old and still looks like he hasn't tapped into his potential. James was better than him last season De Bruyne was better than him last season. Neymar was arguably the 2nd best player in the world last season.

It'd be sad to see him go but he will be a far better player under a more offensive manager. I don't think he will ever progress under Mou.
