  1. Do us proud and make the manure turds at redcafe close that thread come December
  2. I think everyone at the club appreciates Remy and they all want him to stay, but maybe the player himself has asked the club to leave. He probably feels he could play an important role next summer for France, hence he wants regular football. I've seen talks about Falcao coming to replace Drogs as the 3rd choice striker, but we all know it is not going to be like that. Diego Costa and Falcao will battle for a starting spot. So that leaves Remy behind them in the pecking order. He is to good to be a 3rd choice striker.
  3. Emirates They should have added the The Den as well
  4. His performance for United is irrelevant as well. He was coming back from a nasty injury and that place was a mess, too. He was in the wrong place and only United fans will say he is finished just to defend their team. But the truth is that United was painful to watch as well, a coach that has struggled to adapt to EPL football (not really sure he is fully adapted now), fucked up tactics, a different line-up every week, players played out of their natural position and a squad filled with some bang average players that Chelsea wouldn't even look into their CVs. RedCafe is a decent place, definitely better than RAWK, bluemoon or the Arsenal forums where delusion and bitterness rule those places. But like all the other fans, RedCafe members are biased as fuck when it comes to Falcao. Especially now that he is coming to Chelsea. Deep inside them, they know that there's chances this move can come to haunt them, but they still call him names and say he is finished. As a comparison, I've heard most of them calling Herrera "the most complete midfielder in England" and Blind "on the same page as Matic". Isn't it funny? Won't even talk about Depay, that thread is comedy gold.
  5. How come he's having a shit Copa America when he's only played one match and hasn't had a chance to do anything?? Jesus Christ. Colombia was a shambles last night. The similarities between this thread and the one we've had last summer are amazing, you people seem to never learn, although Diego Costa has proven that international form/performance means fuck all.
  6. Makes sense if Juve's interest in Oscar is real. Willian moves behind the striker, while Sterling takes the right wing. But no way I can see Oscar leaving for the rumoured amount of 20m. I think the minimum for which Jose is willing to at least negociate a deal is 30, maybe 35m.
  7. Try Nike Huarache also. A real treat to your feet. Recently acquired a pair and they are simply amazing. Feels like walking on clouds.
  8. Casablanca is a big city, at least bigger than Bucharest, it is impossible not to have seen an official NB store there. Or at least the young peope wearing the sneakers marked with an "N" letter on them.
  9. You serious mate or youre just taking the piss just because it's Liverpool you're talking about??? No one's heard about New Balance?? Makes me doubt your tastes if you've never worn or at least tried a pair of NB sneakers. I got like 5 pairs, casuals not running and I'm always looking for the new arrivals because they are the real deal. New Balance is huge mate. And quality.
  10. Football's greatest strikers would have looked clueless in this Colombia team. Those full-backs and the two central midfielders are the biggest clowns you will see in this tournament.
  11. Chelsea fan coming off an excellent season, he's English, knows where the net is. Let's do this. Falcao is pretty much a done deal so I'm guessing Remy has asked the club to let him go for a team that can offer him regular football. Can't blame him though. Austin to replace Remy makes sense if that's the case.
  12. Indeed Hagi (greatest Romanian football player of all time and now Viitorul's owner) confirmed a few days ago that Manea is no longer his player and he's already signed with a big team. In fact, the terms were agreed last winter and he said he will reveal the name of the team after Romania U21's qualifying match against Armenia. That game is scheduled in five days. 99% his next destination is going to be Chelsea and sources close to Manea revealed that, in order to close the deal, Hagi specifically asked Chelsea to try and continue his development and find a team where he can be the undisputed right-back. Apparently Chelsea agreed terms with ADO Den Haag to send him on loan there and have him in their line-up week-in, week-out. Manea did an interview a couple of days ago and he was also reluctant to reveal the name of his next club, but kinda talks like he's already signed for Chelsea. Here is the interview: "He [Hagi] told me to come here [to the Romania U21 camp] and give my best for the NT. The squad has some fresh faces, there's always new things to learn and when this camp will be finished he [Hagi] will tell me where I'm heading to next season." "A foreign league will always be a step forwards, first of all you learn a new language, new tactics, there is a new culture. It is an important step for me, should I leave. Should I stay, I'll continue to play for Viitorul, give my best, train harder trying to become better than I already am." When they asked him if he can impose himself as a regular starter for Mourinho, he said: "I'm fine with English, I've learned it since I was a little kid. Should I sign for Chelsea, I'll give all of me, I'll work until I'm out of stamina. If it works out, then it's going to be good for me, if not, that's life. But there is no way it won't work out. If you fight for it and work hard, there is no way you will fail. I trust in me and I'm sure everything will be alright." "My legs won't be shaking when I'll enter [Chelsea's] locker room for the first time. They are footballers and so am I, they've all started from the bottom, just like I did. It'll be a pleasure to work with them." "Of course I want to follow Dan Petrescu's footsteps and hopefully one day, they [Chelsea fans] will chant Super Cristi like they did with Super Dan."
  13. Falcao to hit form, regain his confidence and win the trophy then pick up where he left off and bang goals for fun next season for Chelsea.
  14. Probably Milan, read that Galliani has arrived in Portugal last night to conclude the deal. And he will try to sign Brahimi as well.
  15. It's been a while since my last visit on RAWK - any comparisons between Ings and a young Ronaldo/Pele already? Or how they beat United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Madrid and Barcelona to the signing of Milner?
  16. A Russian newspaper wrote today that AVB wanted Falcao for his Zenit but couldn't do anything because Chelsea have already struck a deal with Monaco. £25m for a permanent move. No wages reported though.
  17. Still a Chelsea legend and a hero for me. No matter what. Super Frankie Lampard always and forever.
  18. Bit better than Grealish's though. Hideous cut that.
  19. I didn't. I've never been a fan of his tbh. And he was a "Roman buy". Things have changed this time. If Mourinho thinks he has the ability to turn things around and bring Falcao back to his form, then I fully trust our manager to do it. Everyone thought Terry is finished before Jose came in. Now he is back to being one of Europe's best defenders again. I truly believe that Jose can work his magic on Falcao aswell.
  20. - It doesn't mean that Jose isn't going to use two strikers from time to time. Simeone only used Falcao and Diego Costa in a 442 system against the lesser sides. Mostly at Calderon. Other than it, it was 4231/433 with Falcao upfront and Diego on the wings. - £100k (€140k) p/w is anything but low wages IMO. Football is like cycling. Once you've learned it, you can't forget it. Falcao hasn't forgotten how to score goals, he needs a new challenge and a top manager to trust in his abiliy that he can go back to his old form. And we all know Jose was always a big fan of Falcao.
  21. I'm trusting Jose's judgment here and if Chelsea's medical team will give the green light on this, then hell yeah, bring El Tigre here. As much as I love Diego Costa, I think Falcao is a better all round player and I feel Chelsea will benefit so much from this signing. A monster of a striker before that injury, his work rate is still amazing and if he can get back to his old form, than Chelsea will have a hell of a strikeforce next season. Another positive in this is that Diego and Falcao have played together for Atletico, so they know each other very well. The fact that he is willing to take a huge pay cut in his wages and play for Mourinho shows his desire to get back to his old form and bang goals for fun. He is simply too good to pass on. Hopefully that injury is behind him now after a season of accomodation in England.
