The thing is though managers should always have the authority over the players, the moment the exact opposite happens mean it is the end for the manager. But I agree, if you go too far you could become a dictator and of course we all know it never end well for them. In fact, in his 1st interview back, he said something along the lines of ''If the board go with the manager, the couple of little guys could be gone easily, but if they doesn't, then we are in for trouble''. Maybe he saw this coming eventually and that was a warning message on what will happen. But if it is true about Hazard then I have to side with Jose here, you don't become the best winger in the world(which is who he could be based on potential) by going home early to watch Naruto(I notice he likes this a lot and even shown a picture of him watching it before) instead of staying to go to the gym. But ultimately though, it is his choice, Jose can give him advices, that is what he is here for, but not FORCE HIM TO DO IT. He is still our top scorer this season for now which mean he is doing his job alright, not as good as it could be but alright nevertheless. I just hope Jose handle this situation a bit better than Madrid, when you have Hazard, Mata, Cole turning on him, then I really see it as the end for him or them here. Remember, great players don't become great by being forced, they become great because they have the desire, the commitment to do it. If Hazard thinks he had achieved his dream job and dream life then fine, we must accept that. He is free to choose who he wants to be, not who we want him to be.

To be fair that been clear since he dropped Casillas and made Materazzi look like a sane person. Also dropping the club's best player for the last 2 seasons, he is the only manager in football atm that have the balls to do that. That is not really a bad thing, it shows he got character, but sometime it can indeed get too far like eventually the whole Madrid squad fall out with him, even Pepe. Yesterday there are rumors that he is having problem with Hazard's attitude too. Now if Jose vs Hazard is real then we as a club is fucked. Most professional player in this Chelsea team atm along with Terry, Oscar, Ramires, Schurrle and Willian. One of the outstanding performers too, working so hard even when he is not allowed to play in his preferred position. If Cole had this attitude he will still be up there with the best LB in the world, sadly he doesn't.

Yeah last year we drew 0-0, this time we won 2-1 thanks to a last min cock up from their GK. You know what changed? We was scoring more than 3 goals at least more than 5 times this time last year, this year the only noticeable are the Cardiff game and 2 matches against Schalker and Seteua. Oh and losing points to bad teams, that hasn't changed even though we brought him in to change that. But it is OK like I said, AS LONG AS PROGRESS IS MADE. Now he is threatening to end THE WHOLE PROCESS because it hasn't work out as well as he wanted apparently. So now would you be happy if he just abandon the whole project and go back to his old way?

Still in general with the amount of money being spent we should have enough to cover for any player atm. The same reason why Barca bought Neymar, Madrid bought Bale so they could step up at times like this when CR7 and Messi are out.

The problem is we can let in 3 goals every match for all I care as long as we score 6 like City did. But here we score 1-2 at best and let in around the same, sometime more like against Stoke and end up drawing/losing. So Jose only have 1 choice imo, either make us play all out attack like City or at least find a right balance enough for us to win around 2-0, 3-1...etc most of the game but not just 1-0 then just park it around for the rest of the time like we often did during his 1st spell.

Jose don't know how to play pressing football. While he is a master at defensive football, which is not necessary a bad thing but really not enough at a club like Chelsea. The only time his team play pressing football is when he had Ronaldo, Ozil and all those attacking players at Madrid, playing against crappy BBVA sides weekly. Or he only play attacking football against top teams when his team MUST SCORE like the 2nd leg of Semi final each year. Argue all you like but you know this is the truth, keeping the ball for the majority of the game DOES NOT EQUAL PRESSING JOSE. Maybe he believes those 2 things are the same which is why he believed our performance last night was 'amazing'. Master mind at pressing football atm? Ancelotti, Klopp, Guardiola, Wenger, Rodger, Pellegrini, Martino(well he got Barca but still) and it is not a coincidence that all of these sides are among top 10 goal scoring teams in Europe atm.
