I agree, If we was going to loan McEachran out at first at least do it to a club where he'll get 25+ games and is almost guaranteed a starting spot. Chalobah is a perfect example of how it's worked this year.

I wish I was around the days Zola, Di Matteo, Hughes etc was around and playing in their prime. For me it's most likely the season/team Jose took over, I didn't know what to expect. When we had the likes of Duff, Robben and Joe Cole. (Duff my favorite player at the time) I remember that night we tore Barcelona apart, or that dribble Joe did past 3-4 United players and slotted away at the end of the season, the likes of Makelele in his prime. Was such an exciting time to be really getting into football. But for potential and future prospects the team we currently have has to be our best, exciting times ahead. I'm telling ya.

I had very big expectations for Josh, especially under Carlo. I just don't know what happened. Hope to god he has an incredibly strong U21's tournament (though he looked shite tonight) and somehow, Mourinho brings him along for pre-season and notices his talent. A Nath Chalobah and Josh McEachran in midfield running things, imagine. :eyebrows: Need's to get on them weights like, thought a 12 year old ran onto the pitch in tonight's game.
