I sometimes keep up to date with internal US politics, and I was surprised last month with the outrage about the Benghazi attack 'scandal' because the much bigger 'scandal' is that the terrorists behind the attack on the US embassy, called "Jabhat Al Nosra", are the people that were armed and funded by by the US (technically funded by KSA and Qatar but by US orders) during the 'revolution' in Lybia and are being funded and armed in Syria right now. It is not exactly a secret; very much common knowledge here. But the reason that this kind of information does not reach the average American is that both Democrats and Republicans don't want it to. They agree completely on foreign policy, at least in essence. That's the main down side of the two party political system you have. While on the other hand the scandal about the president knowing that the attacks were planned terrorist ones benefits the Republicans and therefore someone reveals it. The death toll in Syria is frightening and so horribly sad. I very rarely go to US sources for my news because of the amount that gets hidden from the public. Of course when you talk about it they say you are on a witch hunt, you are unpatriotic, sympathize with the enemy...etc. I hate politics because I grew up in a house where there was only one correct party and my dad is rabid in his convictions about politics. I tried to get him to see the pitfalls of "Obamacare" and Obama in general and he wouldn't even hear my reasons. Told me that I was not informed enough! He also said the same thing to me when I tried discussing the Middle East and the fact I believed we should stay the hell out of the politics there (this was as far back as the late 80's early 90's). He was supportive of the US foreign policies and all I could see was it getting us into unsinkable situations in countries that did not want our interference. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

How do you know that I am less educated than you are, you dont know who I am. Do you know my degree and annual income? you might think that i dont even have a job since im from the 'ghetto'. I will tell you something about me, i was born in a ghetto and ive made it out there and im doing alright in the world and no i dont think im better than you or lesser than you. And number of post and time as a member means jack, its petty to think that you are better or have more privilege than me because you posted more and longer in a forum. Then maybe if ive been in this world longer than you shouldnt lecture me, thats how its supposed to go right? What I think is that you are confrontational and have a chip on your shoulder. You want people to see you as being tough and from the ghetto, so that is what we see. You have not taken the time to get to know us, you have not taken the time to present a side of yourself that is remotely approachable. This is why I made the assumptions about your education and age, they are the behaviors I associate with some one who still needs to prove himself. If that is not who you are then, I would welcome an opportunity to see a different side of you because frankly the one I have seen is offensive and rude. To call someone you do not know a "white ghost" is insulting but I believe you know that and deliberately set out to piss me off because you thought I was poking fun at you. Why do I think you are younger than me? To my knowledge there only maybe five or six members on the board older than me and most of the lads are actually young enough to be my sons. I am an American and I can honestly say that "brah" is rarely used in normal conversation and never in written conversation. I find everything about your manner of posting objectionable because this is a multinational forum and many of our members are not all native English speakers and posts with a preponderance of slang can be difficult to understand and interpret. I also find you highly confrontational and ignorant of the daily interactions between the regular posters on the board. If you understood this you would know that Stingray and I regularly tease each other and my post to him was aimed at him and only him (read his response if you doubt this). Next time you chose to lecture someone, you might chose someone who actually cares what your opinion is, is less educated than you are, and that hasn't been around the board quite as long as I have. Get to know us better before you get your knickers in a twist and attack someone. And I don't care to be called names in any language, but if you are going to call me white ghost at least get the right dialect of Chinese. Gui lao is Cantonese not Mandarin which lao wai.
