Have found him to be contradicting really. He said Mata hasn't been playing well, needs to work harder and find that consistency. But yet at the same time, he continues to play Cole, Lampard, Hazard etc when they haven't exactly been doing all those things Mourinho asked Mata to do. And just like before the match today, said he rotated the midfield to keep things fresh after the tough game in midweek but continues to play Hazard when he has been struggling a bit of late. He is playing mind games as he always has done. He is pushing at Mata specifically. My guess (or fear) is that he wants Mata unhappy enough to request to permission to transfer but my hope is he is trying to make him fight for his spot. It is hard to say with Jose and one of my least favorite things about him. I detest mind games in any aspect of life. I was shocked to hear Mikel scored... more than it shocked me to hear that it was his first for Chelsea! Someone above mentioned it above, that he could be a great player if he would just mature and be more composed. I have to agree but I have to wonder how long we are supposed to wait for this to happen. It isn't like he is 20 years old anymore or in his first few seasons. Bull crap, I have been here for nearly six years and watched my name be bandied about this month like I was a newbie who knows nothing and to be honest I am sick and tired of people standing in judgement of each other based on how long you have been here. By that standard everything I say should taken as the remaking of the gospel! Get the hell over youselvrs and wake the hell up! No one here is any better than anyone else (with the possible exception of Jim!)!

No-one is seeing you in a bad light at all mate, I just think Kerry is saying she feels a little scapegoated (not necessarily by you) as people as using her as an example of being an "other member" rather than a "football member". I don't think she is angry or upset; knowing Kerry as I do I simply think she doesn't want to be waved around as a scapegoat! Stats, Thank you for the apology, but you did not need to apologize. I don't take anything on here personally, as no one really knows me except for Alex. He said exactly what I would have had I been first to respond. My issue was with being used as the "example". I worry that we will see injuries all the international games leading up to the WC and honestly that makes me nervous. I would rather have a larger squad then face the uncertainties we did in that injury riddled season. I am certainly content to wait until January because most of those injuries happened in November/December that year and yes I am superstitious as all hell ....those two months make me nervous!

Why is it that someone says "no offense meant but" right before they are rather insulting? What I find offensive is that everyone who has an issue with my nomination feels free to sling mud at me and expects me to just brush it off. If you have a problem with the system that is fine but don't use me as your scapegoat. I did not nominate myself nor do I ask to be nominated, and I don't even want to win because I know if I do it will be either a pity vote or some freak accident, because I don't deserve it. Having said that those of you that have voted for me please change your vote so I can go back yo my peaceful existence. Honestly, I thought it was a running joke between DDA :*) and myself for the longest time and did not expect to ever see it go any where. Still think it was an awfully sweet gesture to want to see the old girl win the award after being here for years.

I think Alex is trying to institute that as part of the MOTM, because we all recognize that a handful of people seem to get more recognition than some others who have quality posts but maybe not quantity of some of the others. It is always a pleasant surprise to be nominated (thanks DDA for your campaign!) but I realize that the majority of my posts are not football related. Although I feel fairly knowledgable about football, I learn far more from reading your posts than I can contribute! So I contribute where I can and where I know my knowledge is good enough not to leave egg on my face! no worries though there will be no pouting for me if I never become MOTM because I just like being here.

Ah, DDA, if I have a fault it is being too honest, I don't lie to spare feelings. Just not in me, I might find a different way to compliment you but I won't lie to you.

I would have liked to see us do more in the second half, it is not enough to be up 2-0 at the half if we are going to drop our momentum and allow the other team opportunities in the second half. Granted they were wasted opportunities but at some point that will come back at bites us in the butt! The second half needs to be as strong as the first. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
