I'm so pleased to be honnest, wonderfull game but I have to disagree with the team as a whole... bossy gett'n all this praise is weired, also Romeu. Cech 7.0 made som cruciail catches and saves Bosingwa was awfull at defending (first goal was mainly his and romeus failure) his crosses and his bombing forward was ok, but he only did so because studge da man was haveing a go at the citieh players so he had nough room, but some nice crossings he did, but still, everytime city was coming over the right flanks they looked dangerous, thanks to iva for blocking most of the crosses 5.5 Terry rock solid apart from his first woefull challenge of Agüero when he turned on 3 men to give the decesive pass for the first goal and really was fully concentrated 7.5 really well played cap Bane, like the rest of the team was somehow not at it for the first 20 Min. but after that wonderfull defensive display from him 7.0 Ash, wasn't the ash, or lets better say ISN'T the ash we've all become to know in recent years, still a world class defender though but not as outstanding as in the last 3 Seasons nontheless 6.0 Romeu was really, really nervous, and I wanted him to be replaced after the first half... he was so often outta position (especially for the first goal), but in the second half he was really sublime... so for me 6.5 or 7 at maximum Meireles, the same goes for him, his goal was well taken and he started to calm down, nontheless was giving the ball into the box far too early in the 2nd half he should've done better with that, especially when you remember him been a tiki-taka-maka-chacka-lacka-spain-short-pass-teamer but allround 7.0 Ramy, very good display, technically at no fault this time surpriseingly love it when he is at his day 7.5 Studge, doesn't deserve that much praise, but its not his fault he was on fire and played well, good runs, good switching the wings and into the middle nice dribblings but couldn't get on the ball, mainly because of our midfield, nontheless crucial two actions for the equalizer and the handball 8.0 Mata, avarage 1st half but made up for it in the second half, 7.5 Drogs, for me, even if hes in form and on fire, whilest haveing an avarage game, hes world class, still has something to give, not on a regular base but a really really important member for the squad, the holdupplay in the last 10 Min. was unbeliveable... 8.0 Lamps, wonderfull penalty and that celebration, most complete midfielder that have ever been on this planet, I know not at the moment and not at this game but id was so incredibly touching to see him strike this penalty like that vintage lamps and his celebration was tremendous.... most underrated player for his entire career 6.5 Mikel did well, nice contrebution no fault and holding possesion very well was only there for 10 Min or so - Maloud, no major impact - Meireles was very nervous, hasty and tackled to much (boy imagin Mikel doing some of this tackles this board would've gone down under the rants)... Sublime goal, really well taken, calmed a bit down at the second half wasn't as influencal as against lower sides, have to agree with Henrique, he is e really good squadplayer and he deserves credit for his talent against midrange clubs, but not a top top class player like lamps was in his prime, we need defo somebody with worldclass at that spot...
-
how dare both of you speak out the name of the namless skapegoat
-
awfull show... only lights at the end of the tunnel drogs and studge... meireles aside from his tremendous goal was happy to stay on the pitch... romeu not ready for this kind of games... defo... iva like a child at the CB spot Bos... no comment... Mata sub par... not enough space and touches...
-
ok AVB got really balls, leaving lamps out for this.... hope it works out...
-
I'm so fuck'n nervous
-
its abaout the relation between both parties, lets better say sides... I'm not gett'n involved in this but it feels for me like... you're weighing up with different approaches... you have to give exactly the same tollerance or intollerance in this case to anybody... All I say is, if you really want to criticise... you wont get finisched in 100 years... but if you do so... be fair and not subjective like many of the posts here are... they cant differ from countrys they have sympathy and others they don't have
-
wrong... I was saying you should start to realize that you have no right what so ever to criticise some nations for wrongdoings you're own nation is doing too... and if you've got enough power to change America, than please change Brittain, Germany.... you're hatering against particularly America at this thread, albeit there are so many other nations involved.... just realize you should start something and move something before you throw accusations around in an footballforum... this has barely an effect...
-
not interested mate
-
what I'm trying to say is this: "we should all stop to accuse other ppl and start to accept our own wrongdoings..." I'm fully with blueschick, too... but neither america nor Lybia or any other country is free of wrongdoings... so we should stop to think we can prejudge ppl from an nation/country because of some numbers...
-
what are you all talking of? you don't have a clue of anything. America is as guilty as any other Nation on this planet for genocides and massmurder. Actually there is so many murderring and killing that you should stop even considering to think about it, and in our history everybody is a massmurder... even Kurdisch Muslims helped the turkisch Nationalists (Attatürk namely) to deport and Kill hundreds of thousands ppl (Armenian) in the deserts, so they all died painfully little babys, childs, mothers protecting they're babys with they're dead bodys from the sun, and they keep denying it, this is rediciulous, I don't even want to consider what germany would deny if they didn't loose the 2nd worldwar, still there are ppl with such an small horizon to say its all conspiracy and it never ever found place... all invented by russians and American "Invaders"... there we go, Russians had they're own KZs.... so if you're true and honnest, every single nation has got blood on they're hands... and if we would learn to let everybody live and wouldnet be a missleaded, sick kind of creature that this planet has produced... the world would be like a ponyfarm... but this isn't to be, you can only try to leave you'r little stamp on this planet... and to, maybe influence some other people in a "good" way... this isn't to go out there and hurt ohter people with stupid words and accusations... you all don't know what you're talking about, throwing numbers around that actually don't mean a thing to you personally, but may hurt many other ppl. This world is rotten to the bones, that is what I've wisdomed in my short 25 years of age... so better leave it and try to protect you're head and soul...

C'MON I'm very pessimistic but for an tight well organized team that hits them on the counter I would go with this: ---------------------------Cech Ferreira-----------Terry------Bane-------------Ash -----------Romeu/Mikel-----------Meireles/Mikel-- ----------------------------Lamps-------------------- ----Studge---------------------------------Mata---- ------------------------(Mata (switching)----------- ------------------------Drogs------------------------
-
enjoy it, but what anti-American sentiment? that must've passed me

f'off AVB is doing EXACTLY the right things... just show them whats going on... loved that he bites at padrew.... couldn't stand him complaining... well done keep it on AVB... they talk shit what ever he does, basically because he's an chelseamanager... so, if they do this anyway why hold himself back?... in ya face... missed this so much after mou -
Gomez is a joke... hes worse than chicharito... Torres is another kind of player... there is no one like drogba.... I really like him, he is such a wonderfull player... I was having a hard time when he first arrived for defending him, because he dived more than ronaldo could ever 've dreamed of... But there is no other player that I personally can remember (maybe il Fenomeno, but he was again another Kind of player), that fits better the bill of "Unplayable, Unstopable" like Drogs... It will be a sad day to see him leave... Hes just a pain in the A** and tremendous if hes on fire...

there has been completely nothing over the top, its like ppl comeing out and just criticising everything... Boas showed balls in front of the press, he has shown (for me) hes behind his players if they are behind HIM, and this is reall, really Important. We all know he is fearless (remember that incident in the tunnel with the ref, after the barca game? yes it was AVB at that time). He hit out at his players (if the reports are true), thats what was needed, to look them directly in to they're eyes, and telling them in front of all tha they're doing everything wron and the recent success have taken on them and made them all to selfisch, ignorant and arrogant persons. He was telling them they're not untoutchable and he will play that person that gives his best and not, that maybe has the most class (e. g. Lamps and Meireles) I really admire him for what he's doint, and it seems like it has worked, see the Valencia game and see the Newcastle game. And after the players took on board what he said and responded, he stands infront of the press and shows his players (in a mourinhoesque way I have to admit), I will guard them, if they show me spirit and give it they're all, then I woll do this too... And he's fully right not only for the reasons, but with what he said too... It's unbelieveable how the english media acts... But I would do it like he did it, I would try to instill an "we against them all, against all odds"-Mentality into my players... thats what Carlo, and Grant failed in, and what Mourinho and Hiddink succeeded in... AVB is a great manager, if he's given the freedom of choice and allowing him to learn (as we all know, learning is not readin in books and thinking about things, its doing failures, and learning from them... if you didn't know till now, belive me, I know what I'm talking about ) -
Ireally, really like Hazard... would be a pleasure to see him here... very promising...
-
I would never compare them... I would never compare them because they're different...
-
oh gosh... sometimes I fell like talking to a wall... Maka yes Essien not... Essien is a WASTE in that place... Sry Mate... I'm not in a bubble and I'm clearly not in a Mikelloving world... you get many things wrong and I don't think you consider what I tell or check what I'm saying... just keeping on with what YOU think is right eyh? I was AGAINST Meireles, but now I see he is a solid player and gie him credit... AGAINST Romeu (another hyped barcayouthplayer I thought)... AGAINST Anelka... AGAINST Malouda and have changed my mind (temoprarly or permanantly)... I have no point in defending any of them... and aside from THREE games in THREE years you weren't proven RIGHT... like I said 3 incidents are nough for you to feel right... for me its mistakes that even terry does... I'm fine if mikel leaves... I have no problem with this... hes a professional and will earn his money anywhre else... I'm only sad to see him leave because he is a gre8 player... I have no doubts in AVBs choices what so ever... Essien must go he isn't reliable anymore... Romeu was a good bargain..
-
France is the right place for him...
-
I think he will stay, has great potential...
-
good... 1st its just not true about our title 09/10, simple point, because Mikel was gett'n praise from all around 2nd I would prefer Maka in his prime, from 27 to 34 (look at the age ), I would pick Mikel over Essien anyday... Essien was one of our main Reasons for slumps in form during the december spells in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011... I can remember pretty lively that a large amount of yousers on this board wanted him offloaded after his horrondous spell that he had after his redcard with his two footed challenge, me too, albeit I wanted him going because of his nasty injurys (and I see me proving right)... That said, a combination of Mikel and Essien what the best we had, Ess is no Defensive Midfilder... everything said... Mikel was the best Passer in the WHOLE EPL that season, with most FORWARD Passes, more than Fabregas, Song, Toure and whoever... so again... FAIL.. Ballack is so overrated sorry guys... I saw him play since his days with leverkusen, a great strong player with a good goal ratio.... Very good Midfielder but in my eys not a Worldbeater, deserves great respect for his goals and things but nowhere a defensive Midfielder in big games (can't remember adhoc in which or if he ever performed as defensive midfielder in any big games)... Mikel was preferred in the MOST of games even by Ancelotti, sorry... FAIL... and it was no coincident that as soon as Mikel was back in form last year... He was one of our best if not THE Best Midfielder... just sort you're memories... we won all five games after he was back on the field... and he was benched after an Injury to his ankle, Ancelotti and himself explained this various times, he also stated he was very disappointed he didnt went strait away back in to the 1st eleven after his injury... sry Mate you're wrigling some facts Right now I would go for romeu, If mikel gets over his recent slump in Form, Mikel any day... Just look whom plays in which areas in that posts above you (scrollwhee on the mouse, remember *kidding ) And thats EXACTLY what I'm talking and reffering about... Mikel has to get quicker and determinde let's not forget this... but you guys criticise where is nothing to criticise... I remember seeing him in that 2:0 win against Arsenal at the Bridge... and I bought a Fuck'n kit with his name straight after because he WAS a GIANT... unbeliveable Impressive... And yes I was in the MHLW when Alex hit that Stunner of an goal
-
OK than lets compare them if it goes down to this... now lets see Romeu and him:
-
like I said, you HAVE to consider his statistics and the way he plays and I think, Mikel has done tremendous work but let us also down at times... and thats normal... albeit Kalou have never developed since arriving and has never done great but had an impact as sub... I would be interestet in which manner you mean Mikels performance is bad... give us you're oversight we don't have... shooting? passing? physics? technical? long range balls? shielding? dribbling? defending? heading? eye for an good pass? which of this abilitys do you mean exactly... and then maybe back to tpic because this is about AVB and not Mikel...
-
sorry you#re wron, Matthäus was mainly in the same position as Beckenbauer was, a sweeper, we call it in germany Libero... the last man behind two defenders in a 3 man defending line... even Maradonna said: "Matthäus was the best opponent I have ever played against, better than Beckenbauer or anyone else..."

If this article was true, I honestly have fallen in love with AVB.... dunno why ppl wouldn't like a trainer telling ppl what all of us would tell them, best part was this, and it seemed to have kicked that players particular ass: thats how you tell a player he's shit and he has to get his things sorted...
