  1. Exactly - great point. He's in almost every fan's teamsheet now, compared to even a few weeks ago.
  2. Not really. Torres, on the other hand...
  3. "The inflatable pig now flying over Battersea Power Station is to celebrate the Pink Floyd reissues released today, not Torres' recent goals."
  4. If anyone wants to see Nando's goal before it's yanked off YT... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePmD-ewoZKA&feature=channel_video_title Great ball by Juan, and an even better finish.
  5. His last red card was on 9th September 2006 for Atletico Madrid against Valencia in La Liga (a 1-0 defeat). More positively, he's now scored against 24 of the 28 different teams that he has faced in the Premier League. It was his first ever goal in front of the Shed, and only one of his assists (Ivanovic vs. Newcastle) has been there. The rest of his SB goals and assists, including in the 2008 CL semi goal for Liverpool, were both in front of the Matthew Harding.
  6. Positives - two games and and double many goals as last season, not forgetting the Bayer assists. Negatives - another moment of madness the papers will lap up. SMH. It was all going so well yet again.
  7. This won't be an easy competition at all for us - another PL club, not to mention away. And United getting Aldershot? Pftt...
  8. And Andre Villas-Boas' first game against Premier League opposition was Aston Villa!
  9. Why post them then?! You don't have to update us on every negative Torres story - we get it. You pay those rags every time you click on their links.
  10. Roman and youth talent? The same club that shunned a hungry Sturridge for Kalou?
  11. Agreed. I'm not sure on this, but I think it's still the highest circulated paper in Liverpool.
  12. Correct, but wouldn't you have reacted similarly?
  13. As I overheard someone today say, "He's almost back. And good for him."
  14. Mainly youngsters, I hope. Should be a decent test for them.
  15. Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson on Fernando Torres' miss: "I thought he was bound to score. It was a bad miss, he had so much time. It reminded me of one that Diego Forlan missed for us against Juventus in a pre-season friendly."
  16. Things the press won't focus on tomorrow: - Torres' goal - Ramires' miss - Rooney's miss Things the press will focus on tomorrow: - Torres' miss
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wrjvl5ibL9s
  18. I can't even face the goal after watching that miss. Horrific.
