how should gustavo fix our problems? we need a DM who can, even when pressured, build-up a play and be the link between midfield and strikers. gustavo is just a destroyer. we dont need a destroyer, we need someone who can pass the ball and build-up a play. gustavo would be a no-brainer.

fabregas has announced that he will stay. Dont think that Utd will sell him unless they get some players. they would look completely embarrasing.

well huddlestone will probably leave. parker maybe too. so they have dembele (injury prone), sandro (comes from a hard injury) and now paulinho. this aint that much. Boas also mostly plays with a double pivot, so that would make 3 players for 2 positions.

godin- quite a good defender but not world-class. also too slow and technically limited fazio- already 26 and hasnt achieved nothing till yet. solid defender but nowhere near luiz class mangala- he is a beast. but porto want 50 m for him. sakho- dont rate him at all. stagnated really in his progress and makes way too much errors. papadopoulos- good CB, but injury-prone as hell. also schalke dont really want to sell him and he still has to learn a lot. höwedes- schalke wont sell him, unless for a really high offer. rami- is awful. have seen enough from him at Valencia and against half-way good strikers he looks embarrasing. so, most of the options you listed, arent really good at all or would be expensive. mangala would be really the only one who could replace him quite well, but he would be really expensive.

if we sell him, it should be at least 45 m. we are in mid-august nearly, it will be hard to find a replacement, especially as we are Chelsea.

that casillas stuff is made up and not proven at all. ramos is a fighter till the fullest. how many madrid fans do you actually know beside the one at the redcafe (a united forum..) ? most of the fans are thankful for mou but he f-ed up the team last season. he nearly had brawls with everybody. CR, ramos, iker, pepe etc. most of the people are thankful but are happy that now someone new is there and adds fresh bit of air. against barca we had mad luck. of course it was spirit and fighting but also mad luck. same as against munich. still we deserved the title because we had to win it even some years before.

we wont go for suarez. mou said its rooney or no one. also he said my striker wont cost 50 m which Suarez obviously would.

is it me or does van ginkel seem really technically limited? isnt offering much in terms of offensive-play.

mediocre half. our DM is non-existing, especially offensively. van ginkel looks tired and kinda slow today. de bruyne and ivanovic the best in this half. we look good on the counter-attack while not really effective when building-up.
