you cant train technique. either you have it or not. its something more or less god given. he surely can improve his heading and maybe his positioning etc, but he wont improve his first touch for example or other technical aspects of his game. he would be a good 2nd striker next season, but nowehre ready to lead our line. in fact, if a good offer comes in, I would consider selling him, because I dont see a bright future for him to be honest. just lacks the technical ability and is too often a passenger at the moment. and we dont have the time to wait 3 or 4 years watching him getting sligthly better (which I doubt he will do).

we cant keep both players competeting for 1 place. its either oscar or mata. mata is not a player who is playing second fiddle. and mourinho does not give him the chance to prove himself on his position, so there is no need to talk about keeping both. they arent even competing for the same place. Mata will be gone by the summer, unless something unexpected happens. If Mou does not favor a player, its nearly impossible to get back.

well, the coach has also to put players in positions, where they can fully express themselves. everybody on this board knows that Mata isnt half as good on the right wing as he is in the center. so putting him in the right wing, you'll never get the best result. you cant change players 100%. especially mata, who aint a 20-year old kid anymore. I mean, Oscar was awful against United, so why not giving Mata the chance? especially after being 3!!-0 up. instead he brings on Mikel and later even Matic and playing with 4 DMs on the pitch. Mou at the moment just destroys Mata, thats it. there were rumours as soon as his era started, that he didnt like Matas style etc and back then we were laughing at this rumours but now looking at the situation- they were right with this reports. We need Mata especially in February, where we have a lot of tight matches, but if Mou treats him how he does at the moment, I dont think we will get the best out of Juan.

hehe, not that bad . i wa just disappointed with our performance against such a shit united. thats it. I mean most of us expected them so sit deep while they took initiative and attacked, nobody expected this in here. Only due to their shit wingers and Wellbeck as a striker they didnt create more. with RVP and Rooney this would have looked completely different today. and we were lucky with the 1st goal which was massive for us.

most of our "attempts" were random shots without any danger. united clearly was the better team and had more possession the whole half. they didnt create anything because they literally had no striker on the pitch (their best 2 strikers were missing the game...) and because Valencia and Young are both shit and cant cross properly. still they exposed us some times, especially in the first 10 mins. and in the 2nd half, we just immediately scored the 3rd and after this goal the game was over. still, they had 1 or 2 chances and finally scored one (as always hernandez scores against us...). they also had more possession in the 2nd half and we looked tired in the last 20 mins (substitutions were awful. ramires on the right wing once again and Luiz played the whole game?!). all in all, one of our worst games this season but we won and thats the most important thing.
