Every goal is a defender's fault and Cahill could have held a better line with JT and played offside for the Aguero goal ,we also could have had more pressure on David Silva who found space to find the pass to Aguero,by the way these are world class players Cahill was defending against ,this mistake does not compare to the sloppy schoolboy mistakes that Luiz is making at the moment that are unacceptable and he needs to cut out .

I am of course being realistic as to who will be available in January and Alonso believe me is twenty times quicker than Mikel . Watch this space we need reinforcements as Jose has clearly made his mind up as I have that Mikel is not good enough. What can I do if some can not see what Jose and I can see? I would have Alonso in front of Mikel any day he is useless.

He is the type of player we need for games like Newcastle and it should be at the expense of Mata or Oscar.Power and drive is the recipe you need for conditions like that. Lets be honest that was not a Chelsea performance it was one we associate with Arsenal weak and soft. Champions win battles like that in terrible conditions that are not made for pretty football.

Brazil and football in the sun is not the same as Newcastle and the Premier league in the mud and rain and it showed,he reminds me a lot of Frank Lebouef in his early days,Lebouef learned how to cope,Every season we seem to falter when the clocks go back,it is no coincidence,Luiz did not want to get dirty on Saturday. He remains a player of supreme ability,but needs to be able to cope with days like Saturday,his patheric effort of a tackle followed by the cowardly trip is not what is needed on a winters day up north in England.

Agree Lampard should be used more sparingly but we need someone else other than Mikel he always gets humiliated by someone and is exposed and usually dropped even the waiter lost faith in him and Jose hated him at Spurs where he was totally exposed. We need someone else in their.

Trust Jose and me on this folks . Since Spurs 1st half we have been very good ,our lightweight 3 AMs and Luiz were our problem at Newcastle ,winter football is different in England and we need to adjust ,I am sure Jose has already worked out what was wrong and it was not Lampard .

A bit like putting petrol on a fire in an attempt to distinguish . We go from too slow and sideways to even more slow and sideways .

The big problem we had in the first half v Spurs has been eradicated lets not go back ,nothing wrong with our pivot in the games we won since then and at Newcastle our problem was the front 4 and Luiz ,the pivot did really well in their jobs ,we could have done with a Lampard shot from a more advanced role though .

He was dreadful ,you cant rely on him to defend properly one long ball to a forward can beat him it is easy ,he was our worst performer on the day by a distance ,if he wants to learn how to play English football in the winter he should stay up for a week watching videos of the player who partnered him on Saturday ,this is not football on the beach .

Oh no not the fanboys again ,Mikel needs to leave Chelsea he is a . And is out of the picture Jose has already said our problem v Newcastle was we were to slow with no penetration and too many sideways balls ,I doubt his remedy will involve picking the slowest player in Europe and the king of the sideways / backwards pass,will he?

I wouls welcome Xavi Alonso personally to partner Lamaprd or Rammy and Rammy could play right side AM with those two .

This all sound good in theory but Mikel - Ramires stinks it has not happened to often for a reason Spurs away scared Jose and efforts like last season at West Ham left a scar with some . It really stinks ,Rammy tends to push on too much and Mikel well just stands there it leaves a massive gap in the middle of the park . I feel sick just thinking about it .

The back four should now pick itself during the crucial winter months ,only one tippy tappy player can be accomodated during this time when running and power is the name of the game .

Mikel is useless and needs to leave ,Lampard is one of the players who needs to play over christmas ,some of you foreign fans do not understand what it is like to play in Engalnd in winter ,it is worse than it looks on the TV and for instance our away game at West Ham where Mikel was atrocious last season and was walked all over will be a game where we need our power players and Lampard is one of them ,maybe even Essien ,short sideways passes are even worse in winter than they look in summer,Mikel will be better off at the African nations ans leave our games to Essien,Lampard ,Cahill,Terry,Schurrle and Ramires. Our problem yesterday was our sunshine players Mata,Oscar,Luiz could not cope withe the conditions . Lampard is a must especially at this time maybe even as an AM with Essien and Rammy also in the engine room ,our tippy tappy player need to wait for calmer weather . Without being patronising some of our foreign fans really do not understand winter football in England.

I feel there is this ethos at the club driven by Roman to play Barca football all the time ,this is very gracious and honourable BUT there are certain games at this time of the season in England when it is all about power and grit in our conditions ,the christmas period demands a differnet approach and is maybe why we tend to struggle and lose momentum at this time of year after a good start and then we always finish well , I feel at this time of the season we Jose needs to opt for power and strength rather than tippy tappy stuff . I am not interested in what a certain player can do for an international team in the summer I want to someone who can handle our conditions in the winter especially away from home and at West Ham we will need to match them for power and running before we can play. Our three midget but very skillful AM's can't play together they are too lightweight and Cahill needs to partner Terry ,we need our winter players out there now ,Schurlle is another who needs to play. This is not the time for tippy tappy stuff ,yesterday was the warning and we should take it .

Yesterday was his game ,English conditions corners free kicks and hard tackling up Norf demanded a Vidic style centre half who fancied putting his head and foot in next to John Terry ,we were weak and tepid and were their for the taking ,Cahill must play over Christmas where it is all about terrible conditions and strong brave players who do not bottle 50/50 tackles and duck out of headers.

It was a day for Andre yesterday ,he would have contributed much more in those conditions than Oscar or Mata and given us some runnung power ,English football is not played on a beach in the sun ,yesterday was all about runners and tacklers not tippy tappy 8st weaklings . Our balance was all wrong and it was not the day for MaZaCar ,it was a day Essien,Lampard,Terry,Drogba,Carvalho would have gobbled up and spat out . Too many 9st weeds out there yesterday and no beech ball for them to play with and that is what cost us. I doubt Jose will make that mistake again over Christmas .

And what do these so called fans have to say about? - Luiz,Oscar,Mata who were our worst performers and created nothing in a game they did not fancy up north . Put Lampard in the ten role and we score and create something in that game a shot would have been nice , Oscar and Mata did nothing all day did not create one chance or look like running past Torres. On a day like that in those conditions players will misplace passes it is all about who is the hardest and wants it most,that is why John Terry played so well ,he is hard and he wants the fight ,too many of our tippy tappy players did not ,it was like watchng Arsenal. Lampard was in fact better than Ramires on the day.

Corners were our best chance of scoring yesterday and Luiz took our free kick and it sailed over the bar .
