After winning everything in seven years he resigned when Laporta stepped down. They won four trophies in his last season.
-
He was the technical director between 2003-2010 at Barca.
-
You attend to their meetings? Guardiola knows Begristain for 30 years and they were very successful together at Barca. It is hard to have that synergy with someone else.
-
Working with Begiristain makes City job easier for Guardiola. He would have to deal with Woodward at United.
-
He looks weak but he is not.

Motivational skills are very important for Premiere League managers I believe. That's why I would like to see Conte at Chelsea, although Allegri might be the better tactician.
-
I think he cares more about success than style. It seems whoever makes it to CL final is on our radar, which makes Conte an unlikely candidate.

It seems to me people feel that they need to take a side between Mourinho and Emenolo. I believe after a season like this we need a bigger overhaul in our management including our scouts and board. I think sacking Mourinho was the right decision but I respect him and I don't think he will ever a season like this in future. Emenalo's job description includes assisting the manager. Mourinho obviously did not get the necessary assistance this season. When Emenalo avoided using his name I thought the actual palpable discord was between him and Mourinho. I don't care which young talents we signed a few years ago. If one bad season is enough to sack a world class manager, one bad transfer window should be enough to sack the head of scouts. Not just us but the problem at most Premiere League clubs is that they bring in all these world class managers and then they make them work with business people like Granovskaia and unqualified football people like Emenaolo. As a result English clubs are doing just slightly better than Italian clubs in Europe although Premiere League clubs have better managers, players and more resources.

Juventus started horribly to this season. After Sassuolo game Allegri, Marotta and Paratici had a meeting. Whatever the problem was, it must have been solved during that meeting because they have not lost a point since then. Allegri is a good coach. Let's hope our board can provide him the necessary assistance when he needs it.
-
Our board sacked the manager they had given contract extension a few months earlier. We know enough about them to say that they have no idea what they are doing.

Unlike Chelsea at Juventus managers are surrounded by qualified, well respected football people right? I would like to see another Italian manager at Chelsea but Juventus performance of any manager can misguide I believe. If Allegri or Conte comes, I hope Marotta and his scouts come with him.
-
We might see him playing for Mourinho at Inter.
-
That was not my intention. I just have my doubts whether we provide the best assistance to our managers. It is not only about one individual. Successful Italian, German and Spanish teams are managed differently than us. That's why I think it is harder for foreign managers to repeat their success.
-
I did not claim anything. I just asked if you seriously think Guardiola and Simeone can repeat their success here. You said yes.
-
Then why did you say yes to my previous question?
-
So you think Emenalo is as good as Sammer or Caminero?
-
Guardiola works with Sammer, Simeone works with Caminero. You guys seriously think they can repeat their success here with Emenalo?
-
I don't know why, but Blue_fox is clearly obsessed with Belgian players and fans.

I found this on reddit: He's a young (20) American-Polish CB who was one of the best defenders in MLS this past season. He plays for the New York Red Bulls who play a high line and up-tempo pressing game predicated on quick transitions from turnover to counter via easy, direct passes not unlike Dortmund. In terms of his position that often means he has to play exposed if the press is broken. He's got all the physical tools you would want in a central defender and has played as a professional since he was 16. He's tall, lanky, strong, and fast. Looks a bit like Koscienly but taller. When he first began as a professional he had a very bad tendency to commit stupid fouls and was often a red-card waiting to happen. He had bad tactical sense and seemed to make up for poor positioning with his athleticism, often with disastrous results. In the past year he's made incredible strides in his composure and reading of the game. Like, seriously, he went from the 3rd choice CB of his team to one of the undisputed best in the league, baffling a lot of long-time MLS / US followers like myself in the process. But the kid's the real deal. That's the only conclusion you can come to if you watch his games. Along with Tottenham's Cameron Carter-Vickers, he formed one of the best if not the best defensive partnerships in last summer's U20 World Cup; they kept clean sheets in their last two knockout games, including against a strong Colombia side and the eventual winners Serbia, whom they got knocked out by via penalties. Is he good enough for Chelsea? Who knows. But he's certainly a prospect and one that many in this thread (mostly the English) are underrating simply because of his ethnicity. Also, he was very highly recruited by Poland before ultimately choosing the USA. He's also been on many scouts' watch-lists since he debuted and has always been seen as a player with huge potential
-
He may not be ready right now but he has potential. Miazga is only 20 years old. I don't think this transfer has any similarity to the transfers you mentioned.
-
More like Baba Rahman imo. Also Miazga can become USA captain in future, which would be also good for us commercially.
-
His pace can be useful against PSG.
-
Good news imo. Another weak player who would follow Cuadrado and Salah if we signed him.
