  1. Obviously Sarri tactically prepares his teams well. My concern is whether he can adapt to the higher tempo of Premier League. Guardiola, Poch and Klopp pay great attention to fitness and nutrition. I hope Sarri does the same, but these rumors about Albiol and Higuain are a bit worrying. I would like us to go for younger and more athletic players.
  2. We have a Portuguese member who might enlighten us. @Johnnyeye
  3. Yes, Roman seems to be only capable of this right now. He needs to get better.
  4. Gelson Martins & Bruno Fernandes are set to terminate their contract with Sporting - they will be available in a free if so - The players were attacked by fans during a training session, Carvalho looks set to do the same. [@Record_Portugal]
  5. The team might collapse without him. The board should not even think about selling him.
  6. I hope hot days doesn't mean meltdown for us.
  7. I dont remember Roman not being able to get into UK or talks about freezing his assets so frequently. These are very different issues than changing managers or his previous legal problems. The tension between England and Russia has never been this high since the Cold War. The thing is if Britain decided to hit Putin through his oligarchs Roman's problems might grow exponentially from now on. I never said he certainly lost interest btw. I dont see the world black and white, this is why I say might and could all the time.
  8. I was not talking about last summer. He has visa problems, stadium plans postponed indefinitely a few weeks ago, there are also talks to freeze oligarchs' assets. These are all recent developments, which could affect the motivation of a club owner. I hope he hasn't lost his interest like I said earlier but it seems everything not just the stadium plans, are on hold at the club right now.
  9. I think if an owner had done so much for a club in Spain or in Italy there would be fan protests in case he had such visa issues. It was a obviously a political decision and in a hard moment he probably realized that he is a very lonely man in London. I still hope that he has not lost interest and will fully support the club like he used to but each passing day my hope also diminishes.
  10. wtf is wrong with this guy Addition:And this week eyebrows were falling. Also this Justin Trudeau is waging a phony war against inequality https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/may/03/justin-trudeau-phony-war-against-inequality Phony is the right word to describe politicians like him
  11. Plot thickens Poch:"Madrid are the top, happens what has to happen" Real Madrid reach the peak of your career Pochettino: "Llegar al Real Madrid es la cima de tu carrera" https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol/pochettino-llegar-real-madrid-cima-carrera-6863416
  12. and fall, winter, spring... We are always very volatile.
  13. This is true but most successful clubs also have a director of football. Atletico, City, Bayern, Juventus and others. If we had a Director of Football with a proven record I don't think people would criticize the board this much for not giving the managers more power in transfers.
  14. Tbh I am not a big fan of the last two pages either. There is forum feedback section that you can use.
  15. We have been also linked with Lemar, Icardi, Seri, Malcom, Bailey. I still have that glimpse of hope that stadium development on hold means we'll spend more in the transfer market.
  16. We were thinking that we were not making any marquee signings because of the stadium cost. Now that it is off I thought maybe we would sign one or two top quality players this year but each passing day I am losing my hope and start to think that Roman lost interest.
