  1. Our u19 team plays waaay better football and displays way better instincts than our first team.
  2. HAHAHA what the FUCK was Oscar trying to do there. Shut the fuck up with your constant shit.
  3. Totally impressed by everyone except RLC, Musonda, and Solanke. The build up play between both sets of wingers and fullbacks was great to watch. Boga looked like he's outgrown this level of play. Colkett had a good game in both facets, really impressed. Just way too good for Roma.
  4. You sure you're not confusing Boga and Musonda?
  5. To be fair, he hasn't done anything so far apart from his goal that he took well but was horrible keeping from Roma.
  6. I came here to post the same exact thing. If anyone has the game downloaded/recorded and can watch it again. Please watch TWO MINUTES INTO EXTRA TIME. Willian picks the ball up in PSG's half, he has Fabregas (who's about 30 yards away from goal) about 10 yards in front of him and Fab is surrounded by no one. All Willian has to do is play it into him and Fabregas is turning and attacking the defense with Costa and possibly Hazard as runners. WTF DOES WILLIAN DO?! He holds onto it, hesitates, waits for Ivanovic's run and dinks it over to the right flank and totally ignores the chance to take advantage of the space behind their midfielders - the ideal situation for Fabregas (who proved in the West Ham game that he could suck for the whole game and the second he gets space he can change the game). If he continues to get games over Cuadrado than this is going to be just as baffling as the KDB and Mata situations for me.
  7. I agree with most of what you're saying but who else is capable of splitting the defense with a pass? Hazard..... that's it. And that's not even his style as he obv prefers to dribble. The bolded part as well - Henrique there has to be a better alternative if that's going to be the case. If he's in shit form than the alternative can't be Mikel or Ramires. We need an upgrade at CM still. It's as simple as that.
  8. uhhh WHAT?! He was 1v1 with Adrian and by the time Willian has the ball at his feet, he has to contend with 2 defenders and Adrian. People slate Costa for fucking up his chance when he got played through, but for Eden it's ok?
  9. That's such shit. Mourinho played KDB out of position and he's always been known for his ball skills and vision. We've seen PLENTY of Oscar to know he doesn't have either of those traits, just work ethic and the ability to score a decent amount.
  10. What the actual fuck is the point of the academy? I can't believe someone with a brain decided the master of passive defense would be an option as a midfielder in a cup final.
  11. Is this Jose's "play Rafael instead of Pogba" moment? Because that's what everyone seems to be thinking - and wanting it to happen.
  12. “With Kevin, I didn’t like the match he played against Swindon (in the Capital One Cup) and I didn’t like the way he was training”.. search that quote and you'll find it in a couple of different places The biggest thing I can think of where people turned rumor into fact was that Eden's original contract with the club was for 120k pounds a week, citing Belgian and French papers and I don't believe anyone provided evidence of that.
  13. Fuck the McCarthy incident, he totally switched off during the Cech wondersave. He's an enigma, this player.
  14. I'm not sure how you Europeans deal with night kickoffs, I think 3pm is too late as it is! Mother fucking matchdaaaaaay
  15. How is it beneficial to the team for our #10 to be sooooo inconsistent? He's played WAY too many games in his career to still be having these problems. KDB didn't work well within our team because Mourinho decided to be stubborn and make him and Mata wingers.
  16. Either way?! He never goes left ever ever ever! Stepovers then on his right always. He's started/switched to the middle enough to know he doesn't want the other option. His assist may be one of, if not the only forward pass into the box by Willian in a Chelsea shirt If Cuadrado coming means he begins to produce than watch out Oscar.
  17. Barbara, I'd like to see if you agree with me or not since you're generally very level-headed with Oscar. I believe the main disconnect in the Mata/Oscar debate was the creator vs the central midfielder. Mata can make something out of nothing, all over the pitch making himself available for a return pass which seemed like always. Oscar is rigid in his positioning, his first touch can be awful at times (I always laugh when I see articles talking about his silky first touch), and his passing range and ability is nothing like his predecessor. However, he works his ass off, which generally gets fans on your side, and he's still capable of producing around the box. He doesn't really contribute to the buildup play like Mata, Hazard, or Fab. That's where I think lies the problem. He doesn't contribute to the buildup like a #10 should - but he still produces at times like the match vs Newcastle. Fans who don't care about him contributing more to the team while we're on the ball say, "look at him scoring, look at him assisting" and then there are fans that notice he hasn't had a good game at all minus that moment of the goal/assist. His deficiencies have been masked by Fab becoming the best CM in the league and Eden elevating his play. God forbid one of them suffers an injury, we have to rely on an inconsistent 10 and RW to pick up the pace and then we're RIGHT back to last season, which is why it never made sense to me that Mata was never made the 10. Really, that was reflected in our inability to beat the lower sides. For our team's needs last season, Mata shouldn't have been on the wing.
  18. I'm gonna be honest - I love that we're "ganging up" on Mourinho right now as opposed to just believing in him. His decision to leave out RLC for 82 minutes was laughable at best. His statement of putting out the best team vs Derby is the same. A match vs a championship team - surely we could afford to play just 1 youth surrounded by 10 first teamers, right? However, that brilliant article by Neville put things into perspective to me. At the absolute worst, we have a top 3 academy in England. It took a while for the club to get to this point. If you look at Mourinho's record, he doesn't integrate youth into his squad. Please don't feed me the BS of "look at how many players he gave their debuts too" because that's EXACTLY the same thing that just happened to RLC. A debut without consistent playing time means fuck all. Back to my point - this is a new strategy for Mourinho as well. He's also coming to terms with this outlook for the first time in his 14 year career. Neville was talking about how linked the youth team and the first team was, how everything's integrated, he was learning from his experiences etc. Well couldn't you say this was RLC's first major learning experience? Whether the match meant anything or not, players uproot their families just so they can play for a club in the CL. He also had his first presser alongside his manager possibly for the next 10 years. Mourinho's mindset is win at all costs - we know this and love it. It's going to take some trial and error on his part on how to go about it. It's easy for us to sit here and say "ah well he should play player A here for X minutes and player B for X minutes" but it's our league to lose this year and IMO Jose knows that.
  19. He should care more about supporters' feelings and his "legacy" more than his family? He should prioritize both of those things over his family? How fucking selfish are you? Who the fuck are you to question someone else's love and appreciation for their family over legacy? Life isn't football.
  20. If he really is OUR legendary GK, then WE, of all people, should be able to understand if he chooses family over "legacy".
  21. THANK YOU! People were saying he was having a fantastic 1st half when most, if not all of their chances came from our right and then boom, their goal comes from our right.
  22. He literally just told you when it happened. Everton, Norwich, Cardiff, maybe more but those are the matches I remember. It wasn't random. Mourinho made the changes himself like a big boy. He's allowed to be intelligent ya know.
  23. It's a 433 guys. Look at where Ramires is in relation to Fabregas. When one goes forward, the other drops back but is still in front of Matic. When our defenders have the ball you see they're in a triangle with Matic alone.
  24. My BALLS Have Just Gone Numb & My NUTS Have Just SWELLED UP Like A BALLOON. If I was Branislav Ivanovic. I would've TAPPED My Sister Hard Ass. Branislav Ivanovic Is A Lucky Man With A Beautiful Sister Like Her & I Would've Have Loved To Have Had A Sister Like Her. They're not brother and sister but thank you for revealing that you're a sick bastard!
