Ok I guess you think 2 wins in 14 is ok because there was a world cup last year or something. You said it yourself "top four isnt a god given right" so clearly you have lower expectations than the rest of us. You might be happy for Chelsea to be irrelevant just so big GP can keep his job but the rest of us want to win the PL again
-
All 3 of those managers reached / won European finals. That ought to be impressive considering you were blown away by potter finishing 9th with Brighton
-
Doesn't excuse his shocking win %. Even with his circumstances he should have achieved much better results thus far.
-
If we crash out of the champions League and finish 8-10th would you keep him next season ?
-
Is there an example in recent premier league history of a mid table manager joining a top team and doing well. It seems like they are usually out of their depth. Moyes at UTd and Santo at spurs. There is also a reason why English managers have never won their own premier league, because they suck ass
-
Klopp winning the bundesliga over Bayern Munich and taking Dortmund the champions League final is no more impressive than barely finishing 9th with Brighton? Is that really what you are trying to say there?
-
I'd listen to twitter fans over match goers anyway. We'd still be employing Jose or lampard if they had their way. I'd still keep mount around though.
-
Running like clockwork or just winning more than twice in 14 games ? Or you know showing some kind of tactical awareness and not letting games drift by
-
You don't normally give a mid table manager a job at a top team on the off chance he becomes an elite manager. The odds of potter getting to the top were always slim, nothing he achieved before joining Chelsea suggested otherwise. Klopp got to two finals and was playing good attacking football so yes some people did see the potential at the time. And he had a track record with Dortmund so it was worth being patient with him. Doing nothing at Brighton doesn't afford you the same luxury
-
Being a grown man and spending a tonne of money following football is nothing to be proud of. The match going lot should focus on creating an actual atmosphere instead of pretending they are superior online. I remember those fools blaming Hazard and fabregas for getting Jose sacked.
-
So you are literally lowering the clubs standards to accommodate potter
-
Fofana might turn out ok and sterling too
-
Not super important but doesn't look good if you aren't getting results and you are just standing around scruffy and underqualified
-
We are so fucked. Only at Chelsea would the worst ever manager be afforded the most time
-
Crazy to wait until then. Tie is there for the taking with a competent coach
-
i've heard it suggested that Boehly wanted to gazump man city just like he did with arsenal and mudryk
-
they need to adjust their attitude then. We won't win shit without an elite manager, and they can't be content to win nothing after the investment
-
Villas boas made sense although sacking ancelotti did not, just didn't work out. His Porto team was epic and won it all. Potter came 16th 15th and 9th with Brighton.
-
lampard is clear of potter. He literally had no transfers and got top 4, a cup final and a couple of wins against top teams in the league. I'm not saying lampard was good, he was rubbish but still pisses on potter
-
last chance to salvage the season before potter crashes us out of europe. Doubt the yank asshat will pull the trigger though.
-
sack this clown before he scares away felix and our other ballers.
-
Any non English manager would be an upgrade
-
his midfield was class in the prem too. Wanyama, dembele and eriksen. had them playing really well and near the title
-
Why is west ham so terrible this year? Did they lose someone important? Because they were strong recently
