It's not about buying senior players, it's about have we got the quality to step in if they are needed. And if by sending Guiu to Sunderland, then recalling him tells me we have no faith in him because we sent him out on loan in the first place and now it's panic
Sterling to Fulham has now been revived, talks ongoing
Even if Delap is out for 6 weeks, and that's a minimum we have an issue. It could the other way 8-10 weeks plus, it's all dependent on recover and recovery speed.
If there isn't a plan in place then we get what we deserve, and a plan doesn't mean Guiu is the man
Chilwell may go to Strasbourg on a permanent
With Facundo now coming in we don't really need that type of player we were hunting in Lopez, or at least not desperation but the striker situation has taken priority
Palace where excellent last night, they looked very well drilled against us, but last night they were ruthless
Yes Villa look poor but Palace have progressed really well
It's bizarre because we seem to pull signings out of nowhere when nobody expects things, and yet when you expect we cannot leave oursleves short and the club can't be that stupid it happens
I think it's too late now to get anyone else, unless we have been doing things before today behind the scenes to get someone
Matt Law is now reporting Jackson to Bayern is back on
What an absolute shit show this whole Jackson and striker situation is, why cannot anything go straight forward at this club with this board and transfer situations, there is always some fucking drama or chaos that goes on.
My worry now is that Jackson is going to cause shite behind the scenes
This whole VAR thing is a complete travesty....We need to get back to allowing basic human error as they are looking at video images and still getting things not just wrong but horribly wrong. You see less errors at step 4/5 of English football than you do the PL, it's without technology and solely relies on officials using their skill set and judgement of the game.
For the PGMOL to immediately apologies within hours of the game finishing it says a hell of a lot. Howard Webb has a serious job on his hands trying to sort this mess out. You have a senior in the VAR room alongside an aid, and if the aid states he thinks it isn't a foul etc it will be over ruled so the VAR room is a big a mess as the actual running of VAR.
So Guiu is on his way back, so is Jackson. So where does that leave us, as when all are fit and as it stands we have Delap, Jackson, Pedro and Guiu, that's too many so lets hope Jacskon is sent out/sold and Guiu is the one to hang around.
