Agree 100% with this. I have said it time and time again that this kid under Mourinho could be unbelievably good. The lure of London and also us as a team and Jose is also a massive factor just as much as money is to City. A deal of 35-40M isn't beyond the realms of possibility for this kid and we can offer him everything he wants. I would love to see us get him and replicate the threat we have on the other side with Hazard....The pace, the directness and the main thing...a massive threat. What I don't want to see is us go for stop-gap players, those players won't win you the CL, they will do a job to a certain extent but they wont add what we need on top of what we want to build upon. We have to be seen to be moving on and getting a lot stronger, not stagnating by buying people like Dembele etc...We need top quality and this kid at the age he is at, under the guidance of the best manager in the world there could be huge things ahead. There is absolutely no need for us to go for him. There are a number of reasons why....We play with one striker and I see no reason what so ever that it will change anytime soon. Not only that, paying 32.5M for someone is a price you pay for your number 1 striker and not someone who will be benched because the main man in Costa is first choice. This now leads as to why the Falcao situation isn't a gamble- He's happy to come hear according to reports to play second fiddle, not only that but the monies to bring him here are not stupid in the first instance. Costa, Falcao and Remy(if he remains) is more than enough quality.
