Very average performance from us this, some horrendous football played but the result was important. We seemed to have slipped into the this very lazy mindset again were players look lethargic and lifeless, some of them can't control a basic fucking pass. Alonso was fucking awful, Hazard close behind him. The best passer in this team today was Kepa, that's says it all.

Morata is totally and utterly mentally destroyed. Look at his goal celebration last night, players look like they are rallying around him, it's like they feel sorry for him and console him when he scores. I'd love to see Emerson start but I think Sarri has his main stays in the team and I think Alonso is one of them.

And there we have it, whilst Giroud isn't an amazing finisher he is better than Morata and last night proved it. Morata wouldn't of scored or engineered the movement to score either, both superb finishes. Giroud MUST start on Sunday.

Getting rid of the waste of space on loan is better than nothing, the problem is getting the right player coming in the other way. There is a lot of deadwood here, so much so it will take time to shift the majority of it.

On your last point of offloading Morata, someone will always want something someone else has, no matter how poor they are, see the Bakayoko situation as an example. Remember the saying "One mans trash is another mans treasure"

I think the fact people are debating that he should be here as opposed to the Championship/other European leagues tells a story. You can argue all you want about him being good enough or not, the fact of the matter he wouldn't be any worse than what's here now.

This was a truly disgusting performance. Another shit slow start allowing them to play how they wanted. Luiz and Morata absolute shite, when is Sarri going to realise that Morata is shite and should not be started ahead of Giroud. It was gutless from them all, I'm still fucking fuming.

I think this maybe our first loss this season unfortunately. Sarri will start with Morata and he will be bullied all game and they will play like they haven't played all season. I hope I'm wrong.

We certainly won't pay out 60/70 odd million for a back up option in January. We play with 1 striker, so until the summer comes we have to expect Giroud, if he goes to replaced by mediocrity.
