Some of you need to realize that Costa is not going to be a massive goal-scorer for us (IMO atleast). Those of you who say "one season wonder" - I'd bet that you're right stats wise, goals wise.. I don't think he's gonna score for us as much as he did this season. But, its not only about the stats and the amount of goals, especially when it's for Chelsea. We don't necessarily need someone who'd bang in 30+ a season, it's just not how we're set out to play. Costa is always a threat to the opposition, always causing troubles, there's always a chance for him to score \ win the game. He is not like say Torres, who barely ever is a threat and doesn't even require much attention from the CBs. There will finally be someone with presence in the box, someone we can cross to, someone for our attackers to find, someone to deliver to. And he is also a WARRIOR, a fighter, not a fucking pussy who will lose hope and be lazy or whatever.. Even if he doesn't score 30+, he can certainly lead the line and I'm sure that he could do good for us and contribute to our game far more than Torres Eto'o or Ba. He's also 25 and I dont think we'll pay 50m.. 30m would be a fair price and it wont be a Torres situation.

We can't really know how much of a risk it is.. I'll trust Mou on this one. All I know is that we really need him to be fit for our next 10 league matches.

Well apperantly not eveybody shares the same opinion on this. Some don't think we're better off selling him even for the price of 30+..

If its true.. god it could have been a great deal for all parties. Lewa doesn't go to Bayern - win for Dortmund. Lewa signs for Chelsea - massive win for us. KDB signs for Dortmund - Win for him.

Yea, but because we look shaky in defense everytime he plays CB - that's right there shows he is less good. I'm sure he has the potential to be a top CB and maybe he'll even present some amazing defending in the WC (I sure hope so). But right now for us he isn't 'it'. He's a good DM but that's not his position and we already have Matic there to do the defending. No point in a Luiz-Matic pivot IMO. Only if we want to go really defensive.

Laugh all you want, fact is he's a CB and not a top class one ATM, no matter how much "potential" he's got or how much of a good footballer he is.

You can't deny the fact that we don't look as good and solid at defending when he's playing CB.. with all my love to him. He's a descent DM but not good enough IMO (maybe if Matic is injured). Has great potential for a CB but its not going for him here ATM and we can't not consider any selling options.

He can be 2nd choice. A Costa, Lukaku strike force would be very good for us. And Lukaku will be here under the guidance of Mou and will get enough chances as 2nd option.

Well as to your question - Mata, Oscar, Hazard etc. - definately not cunts. And I feel the same way. I like players who fight for the team, warriors and I dont mind them being a bit cunty.. might not live to be my fav players but I dont mind such player in my team if he helps us win matches.

Well IMO if there's a big risk of losing Courtois we must let Cech go. Sadly that's the only option I see ATM ..

Neuer it is, IMO. Not a GK, I suck at it. (well we play 5 vs. 5 so everyone has his turn as a keeper..)

Well it depends what you're looking for.. La Liga is all about Real and Barca (lets count ATM in aswell..). The PL is much more interesting, although United have been pretty dominant there's always a chance for other teams. Look at the current season, this can never happen in La Liga. Also even if the table leaders play a bottom team there's a good chance for an interesting match and the bottom team might even win.. this is rarely the case with Real Madrid and Barcelona. MLS might be competetive but there's not enough talent.. Talent wise I guess La Liga has the edge. And regarding Serie A - as much as their game is "tactic", let's face it there's not a whole bunch of quality over there.

Also it kinda feels like he never got the recognition he deserved because he wasn't playing for a big national team.

Sad to see Isco not getting enough playing time at Real Madrid .. I really think he has that special something that only very few players have (Hazard has it..), that magic touch. Would have suited Barca more IMO.

I really think we have to get Shaw. Our inability to go wide really hurts us, and much of the fault is towards our non-attacking fullbacks. Just look at the way City are creating chances from out wide, we barely ever do that. Toress' goal against Gala was the first goal from out wide that I've seen in a while from us. Ofc we're also gonna have to have a striker capable of positioning himself in the right place and finish up the chance (its also something the other attackers are gonna have to learn).

Spot on. I'd rather get someone like Cavani, obviously.. but I certainly wont be unhappy about signing Costa.

I think we'd all be happy to get him. But really I'd rather get someone who is really world class, if not then Costa will do.
