  1. Cheers, I guess I've just got to take the plunge and log on early. My other option was to go to the booking office at the club on the way to work as I go on the District Line every day from Wimbledon.
  2. Good luck and I hope you all get the results that you're after.
  3. Are FA, CC, and CL tickets bookable through the club or are the via the organizations promoting/putting the match on?
  4. can someone tell me how safe is it booking tickets on line? I mean specifically about putting credit card details online. I'm always a bit nervous about putting them online, in case they get passed on to a third party. I've never bought anything on line either. In the future, I really don't want to miss out on the big/popular games like I have with Stoke and I know the only way to get round that is to book online. I just need a little convincing that it's safe.
  5. Yes, there should be a specified area for Standing, and when you book your ticket you are made aware that there is persistant standing in that area, so that you avoid that area if you want to sit.
  6. I was going to say good riddance, but you would kind of miss him if he went and besides he's seems to have been part of the furniture.
  7. It's just me and computers don't always see eye to eye.
  8. Good on you Alex, why should the club preach to us about standing, if it enhances our enjoyment of the match surely that's what's important.
  9. I think that's the issue, they have no intention of going to the match for the football, they just have some sort of perverse lust for violence and want to cause trouble.
  10. Fuck, can't believe it. It gives all real fans a bad name. Hopefully it's a one off. Just don't want to read about stuff like this.
  11. Prison Break, although I haven't got to the final season yet. Columbo and Quincy (I know they're old, but they're still enjoyable to watch.)
  12. I did enjoy bits of it, watching the boys warming up, knocking the goals in. I'm glad I went at least I know what to expect if I go next year.
  13. No we didn't get a chance to get the lads to sign anything due to security reasons.
  14. I've posted a couple of pictures in the gallery. I thought the morning was OK, but I did find myself a little bored at times as there didn't seem to be much going on, perhaps my expectations were a little high. Pissed of that the players weren't available to do autographs afterwards due to Security issues, as that was one of the reasons I went. I suppose there will be other opportunities.
  15. Thanks Kez, it looks like it's now in the Gallery. The others that I took are pretty similar, so not sure if they're worth putting on. Hopefully somebody else might have some better pictures.
  16. OK it seems to now be showing, so I'll attempt to copy it too the gallery.
  17. I'm trying to upload the few pictures that I did take at the Training Day today. I've uploaded them to Imageshack and have got the link to put on the forum. Each time and try and cut and paste to the gallery all it shows is the link for the picture at Imageshack. The link is as follows By chray, shot with 5530 at 2009-08-25. Not the greatest picture i'm afraid, it's what I could do from the distance I was sitting.
  18. I've got a ticket in Matthew Harding Lower (Gate 16) for the Spurs Match, and appreciate that there will be standing in this area. I will just take the lead from those around me. I don't want to be thrown out however. I can understand the policy applying to the West Stand where I was for the Hull Game and that was mostly sitting, with standing when a foul occurred or a goal was scored. I've changed stands for the Spurs match because I actually do want to stand as I feel I can appreciate the game and asmosphere better if i'm standing. I will try and abide by the rules....
  19. Well what about the Standing at Craven Cottage? If I had sat I wouldn't have seen anything as it was standing the whole match Perhaps it's a different policy with Fulham. As far as I can see on the ticket it doesn't mention anything about standing.
  20. I think they will definitely pile on the pressure and try and scare us. We;ve just got to hold on to our nerve and believe in ourselves. It looks as though that Drogba and Anelka worked well together yesterday, surely this is what need for furture matches? I suppose it depends on the formation that Ancelotti chooses for each match?
  21. got a ticket for Spurs and in the Matthew Harding Lower, and will try and make as much noise as possible lol!!
  22. Yes we sang that (not me personally as I didn't know it, although I had been aware of it.) yesterday. They also sang another one, which the guy next door to me kept chanting We hate Tottenham in response to.
  23. Thanks guys, sounds as though it'll be worth it and will think about it. Got my ticket for Rottenham Dropspur , but couldn't get one for Stoke . Sorry Alex it means that our paths won't cross this time. I might try for Wigan, will that sell out as fast as Stoke do you think?
