Carvalho - Jose will win league with Chelsea (video) And says: Essien will be training for Jose in July http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/8749558/carvalho-jose-will-win-league-with-chelsea

Do you realise many of us have been waiting for this for a long time? After AVB and Robbie getting sacked and replaced by Rafa we actually deserve to enjoy this moment? Every day is a new day and I'm sure Jose is intelligent enough to be able to learn from his mistakes and move on. And I want to see for myself if I'm wrong rather getting all paranoid beforehand.
-
The site is still very slow, perhaps even slower. (And after matches it's usually unusable for at least 30 minutes). Is the new server meant to be an improvement? I can recommend a stable and cheap hosting if you're interested.
-
That might be a "fact". But let's just hope the sequence repeats itself.
-
We don't really change them...we rotate them :-)
-
Fair enough - it's all about trophies for you. Even though it means treating the managers and fans like dirt. The stability issue comes up very often here in connection with Jose and things like the academy, young players etc… It's not something I invented. But you can't have your cake and eat it.
-
It's a funny world. Remember when AVB "lost the dressing room"? And it was Terry, Lampard, Cole etc… who got the blame.
-
So we want "stability", but if Mourinho doesn't deliver the first season he should be out? I honestly don't know what people want anymore. Can I kindly remind you that Jose was the most loved Chelsea manager since Roman took over and Benitez was the most hated? How can you even compare these two? There is more to football than points and trophies, there is something called dignity and respect for the fans. Besides managers got sacked even if they delivered. There is no such thing as Mourinho FC. And yes, I'm a Mourinho fan - together with most of Chelsea supporters.
-
I don't live in the "what if" world and tend not to worry about something that hasn't happened yet. I only expressed what is important to me as a supporter, what I want from the club and the next manager. And I'm quite confident Jose Mourinho knows more about football than me.
-
I guess it's quite personal what people want - or expect. I couldn't care less about "trophies" right now. All I want is a manager who gets behind the players. A manager who loves the club. A manager wanted by the fans. And Jose is all this to me. If he doesn't "deliver" right away I won't mind at all - as long as I can see his passion for the club. The last season was a nightmare for me and while I respect the fact that some Chelsea fans kind of accepted Rafa in the end I did not. The players were divided and the fans were divided. All I want is some kind of unity again and a feeling of pride.
-
It's a shame we didn't have this kind of "in depth analysis" on our manager's previous work and results when Rafa was getting the job. Oh wait - he was unemployed for 2 years… Jose is not even back yet and people already seem "worried". Well most of Chelsea fans have wanted Jose back since the day he left and no "worst case scenarios lists" based on his time in Madrid can change that. And BTW - we have an owner with far more flaws. He's the one we should be worried about.
-
The end of Rafa :-)
-
LOL. #rafaout still going strong

Torres. Captain, leader, legend...

Agree - an exceptionally good article.

No compensation - that's good.

Thanks - that's what I've been doing all the time. But unfortunately it doesn't help. This one seems to work: http://www.marca.com/multimedia/directo/directomarca.html

Have found this (but obviously don't know whether it's going to work): "The news conference can be viewed on the official Real Madrid website" (from ibtimes.com) http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/en/Home.htm

You won't get your own way, Jose: Benitez warns incoming Mourinho that Abramovich is still the boss at the Bridge Rafa Benitez has warned incoming Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho that Roman Abramovich will be running the show when he returns next season. The interim Chelsea boss, who won the Europa League and led the club to third place in the Barclays Premier League, insists Abramovich is the boss at Stamford Bridge. Benitez said: 'The most important person at the club is Roman Abramovich. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2327458/Rafa-Benitez-warns-Jose-Mourinho-Roman-Abramovich-runs-Chelsea.html (Hmm…one should think Jose knows that already?)
