  1. Now we don't know that - Ba might have scored and the late goal wouldn't have mattered. Simply put: we should have played with our best players. Not with Torres/Benayoun.
  2. Rafa is being let off the hook once again - just like after the Swansea match and the ball boy incident. Suarez will be the main talking point and Torres/Benitez will be forgotten. I honestly don't care about Suarez ever playing for Liverpool or not. I care about the result and how Benitez is hurting this club. And those "giving Torres one more chance" remind me of people married to alcoholics. We didn't lose because of Suarez or the referee. We lost because of Benitez. He was the one who let Torres on the pitch (and let us play with 10 men again) and took the best players off.
  3. Exactly my thoughts. He knows he'll be leaving soon and he is obviously aware of the Jose rumours. And he has never ever taken any responsibility (not once did he acknowledge he might somehow be involved in the bad results) - it's always excuses. Blame the fans, the players, too many matches, bad weather… Very similar to Torres in this respect. He probably thinks he's doing a great job. So why should he care at this stage? If we don't finish top 4 he'll come up with new excuses so it won't hurt his future prospects too much. Either he really is a bad manager and cannot read the game (his subs, not playing Ba today etc.) or he simply doesn't care whether we qualify or not. Perhaps the FA club means more to him = personal trophy.
  4. But he would be coming back to fans to who love him and players who respect him. And Jose not being the same guy is a good thing. Hopefully they have both learned some lessons. Chelsea is not the same club either. And I don't really think one can compare coming back to a football club to marriage. Of course there are no guarantees but I cannot see any other option at the moment. It would change the whole scene at Chelsea and we, the fans, simply deserve it :-)
  5. Roman ended ALL his relationships with managers in divorce - therefore Jose is no exception (but he did last longer than the others). Roberto Di Matteo played the style Roman wanted (if we're to believe the media, Roman has never said himself what he likes or dislikes) and he got sacked. And about Laudrup: Laudrup is not an option - he's doing well now, but he has no experience (as a manager) in international football. And when you look at his managerial career...it's really not that impressive.
  6. According to whoscored.com's tweet yesterday: Petr Cech: Of first choice PL GKs, Cech has the best save success rate this season (80.8%), ahead of De Gea (77.8%) and Jääskeläinen (74.7%) Cech having the best success rate - considering our defence not performing their best this season - is for me a sign of "don't fix what's not broken".
