  1. When he kept talking about wanting to leave the club that got alot of people on his back and he was no where near the player he was a couple of seasons back. But as soon as Hiddink come into the coaching role, he started playing like a God again. Drogba did have a serious injury and it took him time to recover but when he was out he didnt stop opening his mouth which was very anoying. When other crowds boo him i think it just pumps him up to score a goal against them so i think its a good thing when this happenes.
  2. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti appeared on top Italian TV show Chiambretti Night — and, like Fabio Capello and Jose Mourinho before him, seemed to have no problem with this particular form check. Mama mia: Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti savours the sight of an erotic Italian dancer At the beginning of the year, in January, 61-year-old England bossFabio Capello raised eyebrows when was treated to a erotic dance by oneof the show's dancers. Indeed, it added an added degree of spice to his return to Italywhere he had initially checked in to personally witness David Beckham'sprogress at AC Milan. Can't take my eyes off of you: Carlo Ancelotti is in a trance on Chiambretti Night And the former Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho was made to blushwhen he made an appearance on the same show three months later in April. In a bid to endear himself to the Italian public, 'The Special One' also enjoyed a private performance. Two can play that game: England boss FabioCapello and Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho have both enjoyed guestappearances on the late-night Italian show True to form, the Inter Milan coach did not leave without addingcontroversy, stunning the audience with an unprovoked attack againsthis San Siro predecessor Roberto Mancini. Bottoms up: This dancer gave transfixed Ancelotti plenty of food for thought But while Jose's former sparring partner in Milan, Ancelotti maybeenjoying life in London, on this evidence it won't be too long beforehe opts to return to his homeland. 13. Portsmouth have confirmed Avram Grant has returned to the club as director of football. Sky Sports News revealed earlier that Grant was in talks with Pompey and now they have confirmed his return to Fratton Park. Grant served in that role for just over 12 months alongside former manager Harry Redknapp before he departed for Chelsea in 2007. Grant eventually became Chelsea manager, succeeding Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, and he guided the Blues to the UEFA Champions League final where they lost to Manchester United on penalties. He left Chelsea soon after defeat in Moscow and he has not worked in football since, despite numerous links to jobs at both domestic and international level. But less than 48 hours after Ali Al-Faraj took over from Sulaiman Al-Fahim, he has made his first major appointment by bringing in Grant. Grant, who has signed a three-year contract with the South Coast club, revealed his delight at returning to Portsmouth. "I am happy to return to the best league in the world, the English league," he told Israeli website One. sky
