I agree. IIRC, I was actually the person who recommended Pellegrini in the Primera Liga thread. Also, you can't forget what he did at Real Madrid (even if he did get sacked). He got them the most amount of they have ever had in the league, a record Mourinho hasn't broken. Real didn't win the league that year because Guardiola's Barca were unstoppable. But the football Real played that season is some of the best I've ever seen. Pellegrini was sacked because they had always wants Mourinho and then Mourinho was available. What he's doing at Málaga now is probably his most impressive feat yet.

That's true. But what I mean is Hazard might not want to move to another country for that reason. For example, a lot of people just say 'I wish Zenit offered for Torres'. But, Torres has a family and so does Hazard and many other players. They have to take things like that into account when making a decision on which club to sign for etc.
-
I have thought about that so many times. Hazard seems to be highly ambitious and wants to win trophies (which is a good thing) but he seems to be terrible at learning languages. So that might be in our favour if the likes of Madrid did come knocking on the door. For some reason, I can never imagine the likes of Mata, Oscar and Luiz leaving though.

I think it's Kill-ian.

Negredo is a very good player who knows how to score goals. He may not be as big a name as Villa or Llorente. He has a higher goals per game ratio than Llorente in La Liga and for Spain.

Don't read it then. No one is forcing you to. We're just voicing our opinions (what a form is for).

Damn!
-
I actually never thought about that. You sir, are a genius!

Just imagine how many happy football fans there will be when Fergie retires.

He's the prince!

I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be true. Sevilla need money and they need it soon.
-
With Azpilicueta at right back, we are better both defensively and offensively, in my opinion.
-
True. But if the player does become very unsettled then he will ask to leave, which can often mean a smaller price tag. Barcelona have done this effectively a couple of times over the past few years. Most notably with Fabrégas and Song. But I don't particularly agree with it.
-
I don't particularly like it either, but so many players at different clubs do it nowadays. It does seem to be an effective way of unsettling a player at his current club though.

What a player Pato is. I admire him a lot to be honest. But it's such a shame that he has become so prone to injuries. Fantastic, but with his injuries and fitness problems I think he would be too much of a risk. Also, I think he wants to go back to Brazil and is close to signing for Corinthians on loan, in an attempt to regain his fitness and start playing regular football again.
-
That would never happen mate. You have to understand about how much of a legend Casillas is at Real Madrid. He has been there almost thirty years and is adored by the fans. Perez will get rid of Mourinho before he even considers getting rid of Casillas.
-
Oh well. There's always going to be the odd opinion or post that stands out every once in a while.
-
It's probably best not to go over it again, and there probably were better ways to go about it. But my point is that you can't fault Mikel for reacting the way he did. It was perfectly understandable, to be fair to him.
-
He was banned for 3 matches because he threatened Mark Clattenburg. Apparently, he said 'I'll break your fucking legs'. I'm sure most people would react in the same way if they had thought they were racially abused. I also don't fault him for wanting to play for his country. If anything, it's admirable to me. Most kids dream of playing for their country some day. And regarding the employer's name on his wage slip: there's nothing in his contract that says he can't play for his country.
-
Strange. It's possible that interim managers aren't included though.

Probably just a scare tactic by his agent to get Feruz a chance in the first-team.

Great job Choulo and Shogun. Really interesting read. Also, how brilliant is it that Fellaini drives a Vauxhall Corsa?
-
Could be a very tough game. Although I think Moses could be very dangerous in this one if we can counter quickly and catch Baines out of position. It will be interesting to see if Ramires or Lampard come back into midfield or if Luiz will play alongside Mikel again.
-
Awwh... Mata is so polite and lovely! By the way, awesome avatar mate! Your best yet.

That's just idiotic. Are you that chlidish, really?
