  1. Of course you can. I've learned that if you pay attention to people's opinions and respect those opinions, they will usually do the same with you. There are just a few members that aren't going to show that respect and will call you a 'retard' for having a different opinion. But people like that are on every forum. So just try to ignore stuff like that mate and keep posting!
  2. How about this: 3 points for us on a day that City lost. That's a pretty good win if you ask me.
  3. First of all, Messi isn't selfish. He may score a lot of goals, but he also gets a lot of assists. He knows when to shoot and when to dribble. That's what sets him apart from Ronaldo, his decision-making. And Ronaldo and Zlatan may be selfish, but they have the ability to back it up. They have proven themselves to be quality players. Sturridge is not. All he is right now is a player with a fair amount of potential. You may say he hasn't had the chance to prove himself, but that's besides the point and irrelevant. He gets his chance every day in training, and many coaches clearly haven't seen enough from him in training to give him more playing time. You might think that is unfair, but I don't. I agree with you about Sturrigde showing good off the ball movement. That's one thing I do like about him. But that doesn't make up for the other parts of his game which are not so good. Things that he should be working on in training. When I say he has an attitude problem, what i mean is he already thinks he is good enough. And that's a bad thing for any young player to think. Once you think that, you won't do your best to improve every day. There's a reason Messi is the best player in the world. Since he was 17 he has been striving to improve every day. Even now, he still says in interviews that he strives to be better.
  4. What about all of those times when the right thing to do was pass, but he decided to shoot to get the glory for himself. And I just don't buy into the whole 'a selfish striker is a good striker' thing. Bollocks. A striker with good decision making will always be much more dangerous than a selfish striker. This isn't an argument about Torres so please don't turn it into one. And please don't call me a retard either.
  5. You have way too much faith in your opinion mate.
  6. Writing 'don't get me wrong' after an incorrect statement doesn't make said statement correct. That's like saying 2+2=5, don't get me wrong.
  7. That's just not true. Everyone is expected to make the right decision and pass when that's the better option.
  8. Shouldn't it be 'currently 136' now, no?
  9. 3 points away from home. City drop 3 points. A good day! In a way, I kind of missed us battling it out for a 1-0 win. We've been scoring too many goals lately.
  10. Great game. I'll happily take the 1-0 win away from home and the 3 points. City lost, which is brilliant. Win our game in hand and we're 1 point behind. Thought Mikel was brilliant today and Luiz did a good enough job in midfield too. Moses and Azpilicueta were brilliant too I thought. It was good to see us keeping possession and just battling for the 1-0 win. We haven't done that in a while.
  11. Didn't see the match but apparently there 'a lot to talk about'. I wonder what decisions United got their way this time. So fucking sick of those cunts are the refs spoonfeeding them 3 points.
  12. I don't fucking believe it. United score in the last minute again.
  13. I thought Mikel was brilliant in the first half. His ball retention skills are just insanely good sometimes, especially in a very narrow game like this.
  14. Sums him up perfectly. The unpredictability just makes me love him though. We never know what he's going to do, and neither do the opposition it seems, which is good.
  15. Yep. This could suggest that Hazard will get a run out at some stage to stretch Norwich and open up the play a bit. Should be an interesting second half.
  16. Norwich are pretty solid defensively. We look pretty comfortable in possession though, besides a few silly misplaced passed. Brilliant goal from Mata. And that run that Moses went on was insane.
  17. They started together in the pivot against Monterrey.
  18. We don't know much about him, but it's not hard to read between the lines. All we can do is speculate. Just like you saying that the biggest reason he didn't get a chance here is because the board insisted on playing Torres, it's just speculation. But there is evidence there to support that too. So you're probably right about that. I'm sure it was one of the reasons. But you can never know if it was the biggest reason, like you said. And if he does become a regular at Liverpool, that doesn't mean he was good enough to be a regular for Chelsea. Lukaku is good enough to challenge for a starting spot at West Brom at the moment but he's not good enough to challenge for that here.
  19. Spot on. He has so much potential, but his attitude has always let him down. He seems to think he is 'good enough' already, which means he's not going to work hard every day in training to improve his game. I mean, Messi and Ronaldo are still trying to find ways to improve their game.
  20. I know mate. That's why I said 'I'm not suggesting spending alone will make you win'.
  21. I'm not ignoring the points you have to make, I just have nothing to say to them. It's not a debate I'm particularly interested in to be honest. I just took your reply to Toronto as judgemental. You seemed to judge him and generalize him with other fans, which never makes sense because everyone has different opinions (which is why I try not to generalize and listen to everyone).
