  1. What a little cunt. Crying on tv you little shit - hope you get bullied at school tomorrow.
  2. You wouldn't be saying that if you'd been to Bradford.
  3. Spot on. Watched the game against Arsenal and came to the conclusion that this is what it would look like if you just sent 11 players out on the pitch without instruction.
  4. Feel sorry for the fans who travelled up the M4 for this. David Luiz in the second-half for one of the midfielders. Doesn't matter which.
  5. We have no midfield and Mata looks knackered whilst Oscar isn't a winger.
  6. Surprised Luiz is on the bench, would've liked him instead of Rami with all the ball we should be expecting. Hopefully JT can get 30 minutes tonight too.
  7. I don't know if it's completely ruled out, but it's a blow.
  8. Welcome To Chelsea - 3 Premier League titles and a Champions League title in the space of 7 years. People expecting him to come back and try and build the same team he had first time around might be surprised. Obviously his style has evolved and he plays a system not dissimilar from what we're playing at the moment.
  9. Comfortable at the moment, but there's a lot of football left to be played. The final would actually mean moving the game away to Man City on 24/2 to a later date whilst some of the players could probably do with a rest.
  10. Firstly, Kalou played in the final as well and if we're honest, we were very lucky for the first 90 minutes. I thought Ryan had a good game purely because he didn't make any major mistakes. I like him because he works hard and keeps his head down but I have doubts about his ability to play for us going forward. I haven't seen anyone call him the best thing ever. People also seem to be saying he's done well in a number of games, even before either of the games against us. I think seeing him up close in those games simply confirmed the views people had of him. Yes. I thought he had a solid game before he set up their second goal. Actually Arsenal won nothing because they didn't invest and sold their best players. That's like saying someone who got hit by a car might have died because he had a cold. Is it perfect? Is either won going to be a top class footballer? I don't know, but I have reservations. This is why I asked if you honestly think that Bertrand at 17 was as good as Shaw is now? I have to say no, and it comes down to the composure he plays with. He doesn't look overawed and if you didn't know he was 17 then you'd never guess it. Of course it's early days now but clubs don't have the luxury to sit and wait nowadays. Calling people silly and retarded really isn't called for.
  11. I thought it was the defence, in particular Cahill, that saw the game out. In my defence, I did criticise Ramires as well (despite his MOTM performance) and said that they were both responsible for the problems that came from midfield.
  12. You've got some stick for this, but this is broadly speaking the type of team we should've been putting out in this competition. Maybe Saville should've got a run, maybe Blackman on the bench and even Loftus-Cheek at some point although that would be a stretch. Some people have been trying to sell Bradford in the final as the 'magic of the cup'. Firstly, that only pertains to the FA Cup. The Coca-Cola Cup isn't magical in the slightest. More importantly it shows how devalued this competition has become. I don't think there's been a better time to put it out of it's misery and erect a screen around it Grand National-style.
  13. As one of the 'stupid' people, can you honestly say in the games you watched Bertrand and PVA play when they were 17 that they had the composure and confidence that Shaw has right now? Because I like both of those guys, but they simply didn't. When it comes to tactical positioning they're not even close which is slightly worrying. Now I'd like to see Bertrand given a run in the team but if this kid is available for £5 million as the press have suggested, then it's a very tempting proposition. I've heard good things about PVA this season but both these guys have a problem now that Ashley has signed a new contract. You're talking about another year before they can really fight for his spot, at which point Bertrand will be 25. You say that Bertrand will be 'good enough'. When did Chelsea start settling for 'good enough'?
  14. But it wouldn't seem weird to have spoken about them in this thread wouldn't it? The reason I mentioned him is that we were poor in midfield, and we needed someone who could put their foot on the ball and calm everyone down. We needed a bit of leadership and experience in the middle of the park.
  15. He gave the ball away and stood still for about 5 seconds....then he apologised after the game.
  16. Couldn't one find fault with other goals where he has been present? Like Swansea away? Or Juve at home?
  17. 'Yes men and naive followers'. I know some of these people and they've supported this club long before you were born and know more about the game then you'll ever know. Disregarding them like that is disrespectful. So is spewing them out without contextualising them.
  18. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2266329/Rafael-Benitez-calls-Marco-Materazzi-liar-schoolteacher-blast.html It's not quite 'a list', but seriously?
  19. A Buble? Would that be a Michael Buble? I'm just being honest based on what I'm seeing on TV - half-empty stadiums. I'm also fairly familiar with the situation in modern African countries which is much more complex than your telethon-view of things.
  20. It's not unfair to call that team reserves. Apart from Rafael and maybe Welbeck, not a single player was what you'd call a first-teamer. They then brought on 3 youngsters whilst we brought on Oscar, Hazard and Ramires. It was a bit of a fuck-up if we're being honest.
  21. There's a whole thread for Lamps, but when you look at poor performances like the one on Sunday and then go on to talk about everything he offers and his 'experience' part of me thinks that you're giving him a free pass. Sure I'd like him to stay, but that's for purely selfish reasons and not footballing ones. Committing millions of pounds to someone based on that is madness in my opinion.
  22. Even so, I was told by people on here that this was of great importance to the African people. Are you saying that the organisers haven't taken appropriate steps to fill the stadiums? Sounds like half-arsed planning if that's the case.
  23. A manager might, but Benitez is interim coach. You don't stay in a hotel and change the wallpaper. Whilst it might not be an either/or situation, it is one more person in front of these guys and we have no idea if he's happy on the bench. I also don't know how useful he'll be in that position. He was a passenger in the second-half on Sunday and that isn't the first time it's happened this season. That will have to be the coach's decision, unless he decides to commit to some other team.
