This is the reason. Ki had joined Swansea side last summer and this season he was loaned out to Sunderland for one full season. Ki feels that he is considered to be playing an important part to get Sunderland going based on Poyet's firm support towards him. However, Swansea is struggling unlike the last season, as they struggle to organise the team spirit as one, and due to unexpected late injuries of their first team players. Young-Oak Ki(Ki's dad) who is in charge of Korean football association of Gwangju city. reveals that Laudrup has mistakenly abandoned Ki for ridiculous speculations of his own. "Many think that Laudrup is the one who sent Ki away to Sunderland, but it is definitely not the case" says Young-Oak Ki "The contract made by both Ki and Swansea includes a clause that the player will be guaranteed to play the least 20 games as a starter which Ki himself wanted and included." "The Chelsea game was his 20th game playing as a starter, and this is the game he resulted in heavy injury on his thigh. Ki told Laudrup that he would like to treat his injury in the Korean National Medical Centre as he precisely judged the facilities there are much better than those in the club medical centre." "Ki added that he is convinced that the medical system would help him recover more efficiently as the national football team doctor of South Korea advised him that way." "However, Laudrup mistakenly believed that Ki was trying to make a lame excuse after his 20th game of him being starter so as to slack off as much as he can. That inconsiderate thought of Laudrup led him to disliking Ki." "Laudrup then approved Ki of his suggestion and let him go get treated in Korea. And Ki believed Laudrup fully understood what he told him and took it to his heart with gratitude" "When Ki came back, Laudrup brought in new players at his position and started ignoring him and excluding him from game to game. and this continued for a while." "Ki realised something was wrong, and he asked Laudrup why he can't play as a regular starter. Laudrup said to Ki that he isn't trustworthy as a professional footballer and avoided Ki in any direct conversations." "When Swansea tested out players' stamina, Ki was rated the 4th of the whole first team squad, yet Laudrup kept making excuses that he is not fully ready or Ki has to win his position by sheer competition." "Ki outran those competitors in the training yet, Laudrup didn't give him a glance." "The reason why Swansea didn't get Ki back was due to Laudrup's own objection toward the plan, yet the club unlike Laudrup, wants to keep Ki in a long run." "Swansea offered an extension in Ki's contract with better clauses but Ki was obviously worried about Laudrup's dislike of him. So Ki is being cautious" - See more at: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/100456/%E2%98%85the-truth-about-laudrup-vs-ki-revealed!%E2%98%85/#70

Remember, how all those fools kept calling Ki a Swansea reject as if they knew anything about the situation.. -
Do people actually watch him play. Or is it cause he plays for a lower league in europe he is "2nd rate."
-
I like how we are believing sky italia after the cavani debacle...
-
Worse case scenario, he flops. he still has a decent resale value due to his age...
-
Di Maria would of been a good shot...
-
I dont trust anything from italian sources after the cavani debacle.
-
Brazil and Germany. Argentina.
-
Carrick is on his last legs.... I wouldnt bet on him to be the shield anymore in the back..
-
Does this mean Rooney or RVP is gone this summer?
-
I love landrup. Fantastic player and a fantastic manager. However, they got into a misunderstanding/conflict, therefore Ki went on loan because Landrup didnt want him anymore, but Swansea did. You can tell its all personal because swansea are a game behind sunderland in the relegation zone and all their midfielders are injured. Yet, with poyet and company, sunderland is making a push out of the relegation. He could of recalled Ki and completely destroy their hopes of getting out, but hes not.

and staff as well..
-
United need about 5-6 players.
-
Why do brits sucked at PK? Guess who scored. Ki= Korean alonso= Spainard OK, Darren fletcher than...
-
wow, 45 m! torres esque.
-
Wow, Ive been saying this forever. yet, get crucified on this board.
-
Hello. They dont like writing other languages here...
-
United wont struggle forever. Also, how is keeping Mata best for the club? Is that what Real Madrid did with Kaka? Being useless all those years under Mourinho and paying him those high wages? Pretty much getting no transfer fee back (comparison to his purchase price).
-
My point was Coutinho is struggling cause they're playing 2 CF formation at Liverpool. At United, mata will be under the same circumstances.
-
its ok... Hes rich. Dating models and mafia related daughters.
-
We also cant assume that Mata would make them rise. Its one thing if Mata was an uber CM, than I would agree. However, like Chelsea, mata doesnt really fit Moyes and United under their current scheme and players.
-
How do you know he will never reach 20 goals? Assists probably not, cause he sucks at corners and set peices (right now). Also, your talking about Oscar playing under Mourinho tactics. Not Oscar getting a free role under Rafa. TWO DIFFERENT Circumstances. People on this board dont understand this. RDM, Scolari, Mourinho, AVB, Mendes all saw something in Oscar. Not just his defensive capabilities.
-
Your assuming they will pay that fee or more... Last summer, Blanc even said PSG never offered Mata, but they did for Ozil. What makes you think PSG will all of a sudden offer that much? We have a chance to raise funds for the future and balance our squad, yet we shouldnt take it cause it helps United? We're not fighting United. We're fighting City and Arsenal. Its one thing if it was your money, but Roman probably would like to get some ROI once in a while..
