  1. Official facebook pages have checks on them for verification.... However, it could be his official and never verified...
  2. I never understood it... Especially, for a manager like Mourinho... Is shaw really better than gibbs, walker, cole, johnson and baines? ive only watch a handful of games, so...
  3. dont think so... I think scolari specifically gave neymar the 10 jersey...
  4. i think your half right... I think his head in brazil... not sure about the barca part... Can you imagine luiz doing the long passes at barca, xavi would stare him down with his death stare.... eh, i think you have to take into consideration the mata sale.... All these comments from specific posters will be based on their favorite player leaving, which i completely understand.... So, shouldnt take anything to serious for the next few days or so...
  5. eh, I wouldnt be surprised if Luiz left.... Especially, if we get a mata like bid.... Luiz has barely been featured as a cb this season and mourinho will probably bring in another cb for next season (maybe jt leaves too)... In addition, i think mourinho made all those comments concerning mata after united made an informal bid for him... and was released to the press..
  6. im pretty sure its the opposite..... Higuain has a nasty shot, but isnt as mobile and hard working as benzema is...
  7. im skeptical of salah coming here... its taking way too long and also with the quote the poster took from rawk seem to make a lot of sense about the situation... Or maybe it cause he wants the 10 jersey and they didnt give it to him!! However, I do know half of CHELSEA FC facebook account comments are arabic since yesterday...
  8. I heard hes getting the 7.. United most glorious number... Too bad owen, valencia ruined the prestige of it.
  9. Anyone watch the bayern game the other day... Gotze absolutely was fantastic as the false nine... Mandzukic days are numbered.
  10. Why is Cavani connected to United??? Also, could we take a cheeky bid for Chicarito as our super sub. He's like the definition of a super sub..
  11. thats true..... Isnt twitter popular with high school kids/younger kids??? Twitter is like their yahoo.com, lol.
  12. you do it all the time. In addition, Mata needs to say the right words for United. Hes an United player now and for the future....
  13. BURNT!!!!!!!!! hes knows about the cubbies joke!
  14. Only in england hes coveted.. But so is all their full backs... Baines, walker, gibbs, etc... Also, what team could pay that much for a fullback? Prob us, city and i highly doubt the glazers would pay that much money after they just did the transfer of mata. Even arsenal paid 12m for ox.... also, im not sayin he wont be good, but that much money for a fullback is a huge risk... Thats like paying that much for lukaku when he was in belgium... BUt lukaku a striker, which holds more value than lbs..
  15. Not really.... Your thinking best case scenario.... And this idea that shaw is the best full back in the EPL... Some could argue his mate on the other side is better.... Shaw not even the best english full back. However, I do understand the whole shaw connection to chelsea/london etc.... Hopefully, we can find a way to get him cheaper than the reported amounts...
  16. so? Why would reinvest all that money into a lb? Unless your last name is alaba, the reported amount is ridiculous. Shaws has good physical attributes and dribbles well for a left back, but hes not really that great (yet)... Also, on the defensive side hes not really that good (not Walker-esque though). Granted, ive only seen a handful amount of games, but even the united fans say shaw value is inflated due to his nationality.. He could improve, but as of right now, are you willing to take that chance? Is mourinho really going to spend money on a raw player like that? Mourinho already sent lukaku out on loan..
  17. Does anyone know how this transfer came to be. Did we approach United? Or vice versa?
  18. United fans think now they're getting Vidal, Cavani and Gundogan.... these guys...
  19. Sure is a lot of money for a full back.
  20. its true to some extent. However, most of the kids gears towards american football, than basketball, than its a split between everything else... Also, futbol has a negative reputation in the states as a pansy sport and with no personal glory to them..... Truth be told, I think the FIFA (video games)series is really helping out futbol in the states. Now, kids are more interested in the sport and their are more investors willing to invest in the young kids and resources...Also, every BPL futbol is on cable, so the interest will rise.. The funny thing is the girls futbol team and youth levels are so developed in the states, but the men side was never cared for... Eventually, the sport will rise and the top athletes will change.. (but who knows when)... .
  21. Matic is the key to unlocking Oscar. Brazil nr 10.
  22. Like i said before, its only a matter of time before USA starts taking their best athletes and putting them into football...
  23. Report: Sporting KC turns down $1 million Juventus bid for 16-year-old American defenderNicholas Mendola Jan 24, 2014, 9:27 AM EST Leave a commentCredit: Sporting KCThe youngest active player in MLS will remain so… at least for now. Those who pay attention to the rising young names in Major League Soccer have likely heard of Erik Palmer-Brown, and apparently so has the world. Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl is reporting thatJuventus bid $1 million for the 16-year-old American defender. Sporting KC has rejected the bid from “The Old Lady”, according to Wahl. Palmer-Brown became the youngest player in Sporting KC history back in August when he signed a professional contract. He’s the third Homegrown Player to sign a deal with KC, has represented the US at the U-18 level and, as Wahl states, was recently called into training with Tab Ramos’ U-20 side. Palmer-Brown hails from Missouri and has been with Sporting KC since he was 11. Turning down $1 million is significant for any player, let alone a high-school aged kid, but the fact remains that not only would KC love to see the kid thrive in America, but they know his value will at-worst remain the same if not rise.
