We should shift willian to the left wing where he can cut in on his right and cause some damage. Especially since Hazard doesnt know how to shoot. Willian is by far more of a goalscoring threat from the left wing.Push hazard to the center or right wing since he loves to pass even when in acres of space in dangerous areas

Watching sane use his insane pace and dribbling to drive in and destroy arsenal has got me jealous. So many players have better dribbling but are not as effective as sane is with it. Sane has 11 assists and he was injured for a while already this season. Fantastic player honestly

You have a point with city rotation, but if you look closely at city's rotation, they always play with six out of this nine attacking players (sane, sterling, aguero, kdb, gundogan, silva, fernadinho, bernadosilva,) always. We on the other hand, hazard is the only constant in attack. And he's either playing in the false nine today, playing behind one striker tomorrow, or playing on the wing the next day. Morata plays today, injures tomorrow, 3-4-3 today, 3-5-2 tomorow etc We just havent had a consistent attack lineup this season and our attack has become disjointed because of it.

Not sure, but i think conte's problem this season is the fact that he keeps rotating the players and changing the formation everytime. We had average players last season, but we played the same team, same formation, week in week out. They developed chemistry together, everyone knew how their teammates behaved. This season conte hasnt managed the rotation well, that is why chelsea dont have understanding/chemistry on the pitch.

The level of compactness of the team against barcelona was something ive not seen since last season. Our closeness together as a team meant barcelona had no space between the lines, no space for a successful one-two pass and hard for messi to dribble. If we can be compact like that against big teams, then we can play fabregas easily for extra creativity because it completely covers fabregas defensive weakness (i.e not much ground to cover since another teammate is close by) I hope we maintain that team unity, team compactness

The reason why those numerous chances created are not translating into assists is because those chances created by hazard are not enough clear cut chances. Majority of what he creates is when he dribbles and cuts inside and passes to kante/fabregas to shoot from distance. Fabregas and KDB put people through on goal, one on one with the keeper, I dont see hazard do that enough. Infact this season Azpi from defence has created very clear cut chances for morata which everyone can remember off the top of their head. Hazard is the best dribbler in the world (Yes above messi and Neymar) but he is still below worldclass in creating clear chances IMO. Clear chances is the type morata missed against arsenal, how many like that does hazard create? Not enough imo to be compared to the likes of (Messi, KDB, Silva, Ozil, Fabregas, James, and Payet)

Hazard doesnt score lots of goals. Thats not his style, but i think for the role he has, (a creative player) he doesnt have enough assists imo. We can say we play defensive football, but fabregas once had 20 assists in the league alone with our defensive football (thats the characteristic of a real creative player) even pedro had similar assists with hazard last season despite playing less. I think hazard should be scoring more if his below 11 assists per season in all competitions doesnt improve. But a lot of people are satisfied with just his dribbling as his contribution. Thats okay too, because it means he'll stay with us for more years, Madrid wont bring out 150mil for a player that cant guarantee more goals/assists than James Rodriguez that they sold away.

Benzema and Ronaldo are no longer scoring frequently, Bale is too injury prone to have significant impact. They already have a creator general in isco... They need goals and salah offers that, not hazard. They're going to try and get a goalscorer unless zidane insists on hazard, Hazard is going nowhere imo.

I just hope we dont make a mistake and hire him. He doesnt know how to build teams, it will be a disaster for us and reality check for him when he gets to our club and realizes he has to cope with the likes of bakayoko, moses, zapacosta, drinkwater, alonso and cahill as our first team players.

The idea for those players i named off the top of my head was to get more technical players in our team. We have too many technical limited players in our team and no matter how attacking conte wants to play, having Bakayoko and drinkwater on the end of creating chances or scoring them is never going to pay dividends. And Fekir is a very good player compared to what we have he already has double digit goals and assists for lyon, scores freekicks, is left footed, dribbles for fun and is available within our stringent money limits. I dont think you'll find better than him that we can get.

I just wish we become smarter with our business. We can get Fekir from lyon, we can get Sergio Canales, and get Bailey from Leverkusen. If possible get kovacic from Madrid. Anything to increase the technical level of our team and all these players will actually do that

What is wrong with our club? we hire conte, we know he always used a big striker to implement his philosophy, we refuse to back him. Now hes complaining and we want to hire Enrique who buys so many players instead of sarri who is proven to cope with stringent budgets like ours. Sarri actually builds teams and has a philosophy anyone can recognize. What exactly did Enrique do in any other club he managed (roma, Celtavigo) that wasnt Barcelona, more specifically didnt have messi? I'll rather keep conte instead of Enrique. His reluctance to shoot is why I think Madrid will rather go for Salah/Dybala than hazard. If we had Griezmann or dybala in those same attacking situations as Hazard yesterday, they would have either scored or made the keeper make a save (which could lift the morale/momentum of our team in that period) If Zidane wasn't Madrid coach he wouldn't be on their radar. He plays like a midfielder instead of an attacker (hazard is more similar to Iniesta/Isco than game changers like robben/Dybala) Luckily for us, I honestly don't think he'll get to Madrid with this attitude. He's going to be with us longer than he thinks.

The only manager that I'll have over Conte right now is Sarri of napoli. Not even Simeone, Ancelloti are better than Conte. Give Conte midfielders that can pass, and shoot from distance and good wingbacks and it elevates the team immediately.

Our performance against arsenal was ONE of the most attacking performances against arsenal in the Abramovich era. Conte is misunderstood for a defensive manager a lot but he isn't a defensive manager, he's a manager that is tactically astute and balanced. Total defence, total attack. If our players are better on the ball than the opponent quality wise, he holds more possession, if not he controls the spaces defensively and creates opportunities to push up and be dangerous. If the opponent presses, he absorbs the pressure of the press and pushes on in the 2nd half when they can't keep up an unrealistic press up. What is truly preventing us from seeing the true potential of Conte's tactics play out is really the quality of our midfield. Matic-Pogba-Mata Fernadinho-Silva-KDB Xhaka-Wilshere-ozil Dembele-Dier-Erikson Our midfield of Kante-Fab-Bakayoko is on par with tottenham as the worst technical ability on the ball. If you include goalscoring ability from midfield, then we're rock bottom of the top six. Not good enough. Conte used to have Pirlo-Vidal-Pogba and that's the level we should be aspiring to get to.

Maybe not having a striker on reduces our goalscoring but it was by no means a defensive move. Conte has to find a way to rotate the team as we play champs lge now and he doesn't trust batshuayi even with Morata slowly coming back from injury. I expected us to score more goals before the game started, but fabregas missed a chance on goal, Pedro hit the post, Willian missed in the 6 yard box, Alonso missed, another few counters were also spoiled by poor passing. We still should have scored more.

What is everyone complaining about, we had so many chances to score, we attacked created clear cut chances and should have scored 4 today. It's not Conte's fault that we can't score from so many chances created.

Conte has finally settled down the team. He takes time but eventually gets it right, hes found a way to get our three most creative players on the pitch (fabregas, hazard, morata) without hampering the shape of the team. But we have some areas of improvements we should treat, Wingbacks and Box to box midfielder. The 3-5-2 means the wingbacks are the only people that provide width for the team, it means if they arent quality, we have no quality on our wings. We've all been disappointed in Zappacosta, but see how an above average player in moses improves the right wing by his presence and dribbling style. Just imagine if we had genuine quality on both flanks, especially the Left wingback position. Conte saw this and wanted sandro, who can dribble, cross, defend better and is faster than what we have but our board couldn't pull through. Hopefully we can improve the quality just like Mancity have so that we don't get left behind quality-wise.
