Is Chelsea The Most Hated Club In Europe?
NishC300 replied to Spike's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Lot of top clubs give youngsters a chance, look how long Goetze's been playing. My point here was why OPPONENTS hate us. Hearing things like this and not seeing (m)any youth players represent Chelsea is a reason why they hate us. Without any basic logic? I've given reasons behind some of the things I'm disappointed about. When we had the whole argument with JayC etc last summer, you explicitly told me that there is no such thing as 'agendas' etc. u know... -

Agenda based article? What agenda? Weren't u the same guy who was telling me last summer that there is no such stuff as an agenda etc? Lol. Funny thing is now you're making such theories yourself. -

Man U and Barca r hated too. The thing is every other cunt claims to be a United fan (u might not notice it in England but in foreign countries like here for example, 9 out of 10 people claim to support Man United in England). -

That's a great point especially since clubs spending less money than us play better football. The post below is a good addition to the post above. Adding to your point regarding youth, people hate us for 'destroying' young talent too. Often giving young players high wages to keep them at the club and then when it's their time to play- we do nothing or just throw them to some League One club. Recently there was an article on Eurosport about Andreas Christensen, paying him high wages to keep him at the club yet he doesn't even get a chance to play. At his age look at Sterling. A regular player at a top club. Goetze was playing in the UCL at that age rather than the FA Youth Cup. -

I'd like to see someone DARE to accuse Madrid of parking the bus (baring the Barca fans). Even though they didn't park the bus. The funny thing is that people have more of a problem with parking the bus then boring knocking the ball sideways for 90 minutes? And you know what's even more weird? That if we went out and played ultra attacking football and got hammered, they'd still insult us. Some people just need to learn to appreciate tactical astuteness. -
Juan and KDB were excellent at them. Oscar is hitting some good FKs these days, but he didn't play. Yea I wanted Lamps to take it too. Taken big FKs before in his career. I reckon we should try Matic as a Left-footed FK taker cos of his shot power.

Everyone does that I guess. We're guilty of it too at times. Still though apart from the fact that I have a bit of a soft corner for Real, Atleti winning the Liga BBVA is a victory for football.

What triggered a sudden change of opinion?
-
? Man go check your stats. Madrid drew 2-2 there and Barcelona drew twice there. EDIT: Sorry I think you meant JUST in Europe.
-
Showed real heart and determination. Shame our set pieces were poor or we could have nicked one. Not beyond Atleti to get a good result at the Stamford Bridge. They've drawn at Camp Nou 3 times this season and won at the Bernabeu

Trying to fight with Terry? Does he have a death wish?
-
First time we're playing a team in Europe that defends well. Won't be able to score by just capitalising on defensive lapses (e.g. hoofing the ball forward like vs PSG).
-
Same goes for KDB. Another right footer who has great set piece delivery. Caused Dortmund all kinds of problems with his set piece deliveries.

Mourinho's record which was part of so many years of hard work wrecked on a day..... How easily such great achievements are wrecked. All this FA are against us shit from some people is cringeworthy. We've had so many decisions go in favour of us.
-
How was that a penalty are you people serious? How is he even supposed to move his hand from there? If anything we should be grateful that Ramires didn't get sent off for his stupidity.
-
Poor performance by Oscar so far...
-
Since I'm watching the match mate I can't give a longer answer but I didn't 'doubt' Mourinho as you're saying. I am just saying our so called success has been overhyped by some people.

Untouchable? Didn't he fail miserably at Real Madrid? This season hasn't been as great as you claim it is. A club that spends a huge amount of cash each summer is bound to have improvement eventually. Just like in 12/13 we did better than 11/12 in the league, this season we're doing better than 12/13 in the League. There's BOUND to be improvement. If you want to see real improvement look what Rodgers has done. This is a club that was 7th last year and has ended up top of the table. A team that hasn't seen Champions League football for ages. That's improvement! Moreover, he's done it by spending half the money Chelsea and City have this season in the transfer market. Not just has he improved the team but they are winning AND playing good football. Then you might disagree with that by saying we have sold many players too but even after you deduct Transfer Revenues from players bought, they are still half of us and almost 4 times less than City. A striker will convert chances but there are so many games such as Swansea where against 10 MEN we struggled to create decent chances. A game where so many people here were so confidently saying we'd thrash Swansea. Didn't u say at the beginning of the season with great confidence that Madrid would miserably fail and be MUCH worse than Mourinho last season? Ancelotti's already done a much better job. And he's encouraged youth players like Jese, Casemiro etc.
-
U could just do something else (or watch cricket) If we're leading by a good margin, we should bring on Kalas for a while and take JT off (even though I doubt that'll happen). Who should we play as striker? Ba's in good form so should he be saved for Atleti (especially so that we can lob the ball up to him which can be useful in an away European tie)? Maybe we should try Eto'o to see how he's doing, get him in good form ahead of Atleti so that we have him and Ba as options ahead of Atleti (and so we can use either as subs if nec)?

Kick off same time as the beginning of the NBA Playoffs.
-
You just got the feeling at the start of the Copa Del Rey final that it was Gareth Bale's night. As soon as Bartra equalised, you just felt that Bale'd win it.

Why do you have to be part of Liverpool to give condolences due to the death of 96 innocent people?

Just saw this on Twitter apparently the genius Adrian Durham wrote this. (click on the pic to see the whole thing) Really? Yea cos Gerrard's never dived or anything? Cos Terry's not passionate about his club and country because Terry didn't injure his head for his club and country right!?!?!? This is an Englishman writing something like this after everything Terry's done for them. Shocking.... And didn't Terry do this IIRC? http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/12166-dont-judge-a-book-by-its-cover-especially-john-terry/ ^^^^^^^^ Never seen any newspaper print that.....

Making Swansea look like Real Madrid (and NO that's not because of the kit)
