I'm not bashing Mata or anything. Ofc i am gr8ful of Mata he's a amazing! He needs to though be able to score these chippy little goals because if u look at UTD (luck/refs) they have 3 chances and they score 4 goals! (free penalties/own goals don't count). So I am just saying he should be able to finish off all his brilliance. I agree is main job isn't to score goals but if u miss loads of these easy chances. It does take its toll eventually and nearly all other CAMs can finish these chances. I am not criticising him but really for the long run he should work on finishing these chances.

He's an attacking midfielder he should have better finishing than what he has displayed.

Not a very high scoring team West Ham so 1 or 2 goals should get a win. Problem is despite having a lineup with Mazacar we still can't score which is very worrying. I think we'll get a goal 2morrow. Benitez will sort that out hopefully. Our lineup's got so much quality we should be able to score.

I saw the highlights of the match and notice that our only chances came through aerial balls when this team was built for tiki taka? I mean what happened to our attack? Abrahmovic got a manager who fails to play the style for which he removed the a legend like Drogba and refuses to renew legends like Ashley Cole and Lampard? Drogba could easily have fitted into this team. Even earlier this season when we were thumping everyone (Gunners, Spurs). Torres was like converting 1 chance in like 10! Didier scored a goal Spain would have been proud of scoring against Stoke. I don't believe this shit that he couldn't have fitted into our system. And anyways we could have atleast have had a plan B! and a leader! and billions of more things! But now we have no Plan B and and have a team who can only play one system which they are currently failing at! Torres is a fail. The need for Falcao/Cavani is getting greater and greater.

(I MISSED THE LAST 40 MINS ) Regarding your comments I agree. We need a good striker and currently Torres had some impressive signs v Man C yet really wasn't impressive physically. He should have been cleverer if he knew he couldn't beat Kompany/Nastasic physically he should have went to the full backs and looked to get the ball lobbed to them there and from then look to play the ball in to the City's penalty area. Every team has a successful striker a guy who does well. Long was amazing against us we were guilty of giving him too much space in the middle but he was clever he drifted wide at the right moments something Torres was good at in his Anfield days. If we want to play such a system than we definitely need Falcao. He's just like a bomb waiting to explode he picks his moments perfectly. One moment you've got him next moment he's goalside. We have to make goalside runs as earlier in the season whenever we got the ball we were throwing men forward. Ivanovic was making his wild runs. Mata, Hazard and Oscar were rampaging all over the defences. Torres wasn't too bad v Arsenal and Spurs. These goalside runs were Juve's key to beating us too in that embarrassing night in Turin. Benitez though did the right thing as he didn't have much time and not leaking a goal was essential. We were a bit unlucky about the fact that Kompany came back just in time and we didn't have Lampard or Terry. It was important to bring back defensive stability because with the quality front 3 we possess we will definitely manage to make ourselves an attacking threat. Also defensive slip ups could result in goals. So after that performance hopefully not much to worry about as in terms of attack I believe we can pull ourselves back up.

Agree m8. We've always had terrible luck. We dominate the game yet always fail to convert chances. An Old habit of ours. UTD r the opposite. Suck at the game yet Luck saves them.
