  1. I like this kid. Has loads of potential to be a star. Ibrahim Afellay (born April 2, 1986 in Utrecht) is a Dutch footballer of Moroccan descent playing for PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie. He has played for the Dutch national youth team and is now part of the senior Dutch national team. He usually plays as the centre attacking midfielder for PSV but can also play at the right or left side due to his creative qualities.
  2. NEWSFLASH !!!!!!!........Chelsea fan in Psycho stalker exclusive
  3. Diego is a good shout. He's still young and Brazilian. Scolari could have an influence in getting him to sign.
  4. Eye catching.....aint it. Not as eye catching as your England flag
  5. True, but with LFS recently "joking" that he'd return to Brazil does it not surprise you that this story appeared?
  6. Who then?, because we dont have any money to spend and we've got exactly what we need within the club already imo. If we're going to go for someone like Sneijder, Van der Vaart, etc...it'll cost £20m+ to get them from Madrid. Pirlo and others of that calibre will cost the same. Deco was supposed to be the "playmaker" we so desperatley needed, and after initially showing promise his inability to cope with the high tempo of the EPL is beginning to show. LFS needs to realise this, swallow some pride and bench him. Too many players nowadays are playing on reputation. They should be in the team on merit alone, and Deco doesnt merit a starting place.
  7. With Fulham away after that, then Southend in the cup before the Manu game. We need to pick up 4 wins on the bounce going into that game starting with Everton. They played last weekend with no strikers, but I dont know how long they're out for. If they do have striker problems I can see Everton looking to play like the away side and deny us any space whatsoever. Its been shown already thats how we struggle. Wether or not they want to take that tactic is up to them.
  8. As muchas I want to get rid of Malouda, we shouldnt sell until we have someone lined up to replace him.
  9. We play with Malouda and Kalou atm who are as effective as a chocolate fireguard. Ash and Bosingwa would create the width as they do atm, but they need to get their acts together, their crossing in the past few weeks has been non existant or ineffective. ...................Mikel.................. ....Deco/Ballack or Lampard.... ...................J.Cole................. ......Anelka..............Drogba.... If need be when defending, Anelka and Joe can fall back and fill in supporting the wing backs.
  10. Mail You do have a player who can dribble, Joe Cole. I said this last season, play him behind the strikers instead of out wide. Central midfield was his natural position. JM converted him to a winger.
  11. Ah right ok. He still didnt hit the bloody target
  12. I see you made the plunge Davie....AR btw.......
  13. A few matches ? He's had more than a few matches were he's got on like a knob. Thats were my problem with him lies. If he put in half the effort Sheva put in I wouldnt be arsed what he said/done off the pitch. Question: - Why do players like JT, Joe Cole, Essien and Riccy have so many fans claiming them to be their favourites? Answer: - Commitment on the pitch.......Do we get that from Drogba every game ?....no. Only when he feels like putting in a shift. Right now Drogba looks like he wants to put in a shift. I havent a problem with that. He's the best option available, even when he's being a knob. But its the commitment he lacks on a regular basis that gets under my skin. I might come across as a bit two faced on this, but my concern is for Chelsea, not Drogba.
  14. You need to create chances for the strikers, or expect a moment of magic which is what we need atm.
  15. Super......cant beat a bit of Drogba bashing
  16. I was wondering when the next "I love Chelsea" statement from Drogba was due out.....we usually get one a month.
  17. I thought he was on about our very own Jim and left out the "i"
  18. Alex has a good bit of pace about him. There was a point during the West Ham match when he and Bellamy were runing for the ball and Alex matched him yard for yard. He may look big and awkward, but he's certainly not slow. Too much emphasis is being put on the loss of Riccy and Essien. I said this in the other thread, the problem is in attack. If we dont create chances we wont score goals. In the league we've hit 15 goals in 9 games to date at home. 9 of those goals came againt Portsmouth(4) and Sunderland(5), which leaves 6 goals spread out over 7 games. Pompey and Sunderland aside, we're not even averaging a goal a game. Thats shit by anyones standards. Thats where the problem lies.
