  1. I actually got a football question wrong :censored: Who won the Prem in 2002/03 season. I put Arsenal instead of Manure.
  2. After watching him last night, he seemed pretty good. Comfortable with the ball and not afraid to have a shot.30million though...........he's not that good, 10-15 million tops. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif
  3. Doesnt he play with Silva up front as his partner ???
  4. If Sheva has any more chances he could start a game of monopoly.I'm sorry, but 10 goals a season for a striker is pish, we need someone who will hit 20 goals a season with ease. we've always struggled to find a top striker who will do that.
  5. Yeah, we gave it a good bloody go.....take note England Every game we played we went out there and played for each other. It goes to show that you dont need 11 world class players out on the pitch to make a team. Under Sanchez we had a never say die attitude and Worthington has carried that on.When I reflect back, the 2 games against Iceland really f**ked us over. Losing 3-0 at home and 2-1 away didnt help matters, add to that a 1-0 defeat away to Latvia. Our away record is shocking tbh. 1 win in our last 15 now, surely if we sorted that out we'd stand a good chance of getting the the World cup in 2012. We have made Windsor Park a fortress and the crowd ALWAYS gets behind the team no matter what.
  6. I believe he was given MOTM........Correct me if I'm wrong
  7. Didnt you know it was Lampards fault that Carson let the first one in?????He coughed as the ball went to Krancjar (sp) ?
  8. Well done Frank for stepping up and taking the penalty. Showed balls to do that.
  9. The smallest glimmer of a chance to get to the Euros tonight against Spain.Apparently they are resting the likes of Puyol, Fabregas, Alonso, Torres, Xavi, Casillas and a few other first team regulars as they've already qualified. That maybe suits us to help us get the 3 points we need, It will only be enough if Latvia beat Sweden. The last time Latvia played Sweden in a qualifying in Latvia they won. I know its a petty stat, but I'll cling onto anything atm. After Israel beating Russia the other night it has given me hope that there could well be a shock on the cards tonight.Match kicks off in 15 minutes BBC2 and.Ireland 7:00 KO( if anyone wants to watch the first half on Sky before the England game)*clink clink*My mating call.............Beer
  10. Anelka is a stroppy C**T and I dont want him anywhere near Chelsea. We need a striker who'll score goals on a regular basis. I dont see Anelka as that player no matter how many years he's played in the Premiership.Arsenal 96/97.......0 (4)Arsenal 97/98.......9 (40)Arsenal 98/99.......19 (46)Liverpool 01/02.....5 (22)Man.City 02/03.....14 (44)Man.City 03/04.....25 (43)Man.City 04/05.....7 (19)Bolton 06/07.........12 (39)Bolton 07/08.........4 (5)262 games (95 goal)......just under a goal every 3 games. Not bad, but his record is too up and down, not consistent enough.
  11. I watched him play against and.Ireland at Windsor park and he was shocking. Now we have defenders from the Championship as our rear guard and they had him in their pockets. He did score but it aas nothing to get excited about. He'll be playing tonight I believe, so I'll have an eye on him to see how he plays. To me he's a spanish Defoe. Looks good but seldom delivers
  12. I watched the first series, then as the second one got started I began to lose interest. To me it just started to get a bit stupid
  13. I thought that when we initially signed him.............I'm still undecided on him
  14. I seen too that his realistic target is the Valencia game
  15. It would do his confidence a shot in the arm. Games like this he should be getting a run out at least 45 mins.
  16. He scored 2 great goals a few weeks back and I thought, right...this is the start of Sheva getting back to some form, but from those goals he hasnt been seen. How is he supposed to get into form if he aint playing.
  17. Whenever Grant was brought in he was said to be going to be a massive influence on getting Sheva back to his best. Now that he is manager, Grant has carried on where Jose left off reguarding Sheva. I would have thought he'd have got more games, even as a sub, but for some reason that hasnt happened. He played the full 90 minutes for Ukraine on Saturday, so he's obviously fit and able to play. With that in mind, what do you think of the current Sevchenko situation ???
  18. Add to that the endless reports linking us to Kaka and Mr Ed
