  1. Good to see both Chelsea boys getting on the score sheet, more so Drogba as we need him to stay sharp and injury free.
  2. Grants response sums up why so many of us feel so negative about him. Such a plank......in one ear and out the other
  3. Watching MOTD atm and noticed the tackle by Malbranque on SWP was 10 times worse than the one Mikel got sent off for....and then Carsley catches some guy shin high studs up and both recieve yellows. Is it any wonder we go on the offensive defending the injustice toward our players
  4. You should listen to yourself Whats the point of him playing football if he doesnt want to win the ball. I've never once denied he's wreckless at times, but to say he has no intention of winning the ball is insane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Thats bollocks. You can tell by a players face if he intends on busting someone. He DOES NOT go in to take people out
  6. I cant believe some of the comments on here. How can you seriously think that Mikel walks onto the pitch and gets into the frame of mind to do someone damage with a tackle. His latest red was a joke. He stretched for the ball and no matter what way he went for that ball his studs would have been up. Intent on injurying someone?????....wind yer neck in. The one against Manure........Evra jumped into the air to avoid getting crunched in a 50-50 (pussy)....theres clips on the web showing Mikels foot did not connect with him directly and at the point of impact, Mikels foot was firmly on the ground. Again.....absolute joke. If anything its Mikels age and willingness to impress amongst some of the best players in Europe that gets him into trouble more than anything. Look at the size of him ffs.....HE FUCKIN HUUUUUUUUUUUGE. He's an intimidating player to come up against and that too would go against him when he goes into tackle. Players are gonna pull out or not go in full heartedly as they know Mikle will not hold back, thus in turn causing themselves injuries. Would you fancy going into a 50-50 with him?.
  7. Got caught up in traffic and missed the bloody first half.....then i tried to get a stream working and that failed too. Listened to the last 20 minutes on 5-live. Anelka certainly made an impact. Another 3 points and our performances seem to be improving by the game. Result wise elsewhere, a very productive day
  8. Do you think the ref would notice if we threw the whole lot of them on at once ?
  9. Apparently Sheva is doubtful for the game today according to reports....to me that means he's almost ready to return to the team. I would think that when Drogba returns ( hopefully not injured) he will be playing alongside Anelka with Sheva on the bench..........or maybe we could see all 3 up front together
  10. I thought he walked funny Sort of like a speed walker .......but slightly slower
  11. I dont think he'll take that long to settle in at all. He's been around the block and knows how to play many different styles of football. Is our system really that difficult? If he starts he'll have SWP and Malouda ( probably) supporting him from the wings, with Ballack and Joey supporting him from midfield. He can hold it up, come short, go past players, lay it off, whatever. A very good player. He'll carry on where he left off at Bolton imo.
  12. So much for being out all season Back by the end of the month maybe.....Liverpool at home on Feb 9th looks a possible target.....
  13. Vital - football A balance problem Ronaldo must have an ear infection too
  14. Sorry, but he has the shittest name I have heard in ages Such a class surname.....wtf was his parents on when they named him. Could you imagine.....Colin Banderas or Brian Mourinho...... No offence to Colins or Brians
  15. (Rule Britannia) Calm down you scousers, loyalty is blind. You will never win the league in your life time. Short and sweet
  16. Whats the story behind his goal celebration ???? That thumbs together thing as if to make a shadow of a bird with a torch or something. Not a bird WITH a torch.....you know what I mean
  17. In todays market, paying 15million for a proven striker who is technically in his prime (28) is a peach of a deal. Considering we paid 30+million for Sheva who was a year older when he signed at 29.....I doubt for one second that Anelka will be having the problems Sheva had in settling in. I love Sheva as much as the next person and felt that just before his injury he was showing the form that made him the most feared striker in the world, but consider this.....the run in to the end of the season and having Drogba, Shevchenko and Anelka as options up front is simply mouth watering.
